A nice addition to the game, locomotive idle sounds are very good however the loco doesn't have much of a thrash but then these locomotives don't neccesarly have a huge thrash the only thing i will say about it is the exhaust port is on the wrong side and one of the cab ends layouts are the wrong way round and is on the right hand side rather then the left, i hope the developers sort this out as well as there 25/3 from the BR Blue pack with the marker lights being incorrect as this could be a draw back to the more fussy rail enthusiasts like myself :) but overall not a bad addon the model looks nice and it sounds good and i recomend it.

Just wish they would do something about the splash screen. 45 175 did not exist. 45 150 was the highest in the fleet!

A proper old school diesel, with good sounds and plenty of grunt. The three career scenarios on the the Liverpool to Manchester add on were enjoyable, although the loco is crying out for a more demanding excursion. The cab sounds are identical to the exterior sounds and it would no doubt be improved by a future Armstrong Powerhouse overhaul...

Typical DTG fare, but not without its charms. Pros: + Nicely drawn cab with instrument and cab lights. + Engine sounds give a convincing slow revving noisy engine, with a difference between internal and external sounds. + Physics seem credible and it feels like a heavy, slightly ponderous loco. It will reach speed, but takes time to get there. Brakes feel like 50s/60s technology, they do work but aren't super-efficient, so you must think ahead a bit. + Thermostatically controlled roof fan which starts spinning and roaring when the engine gets hot. I’ve no idea if this is correct for a Class 45, but it adds to the immersion. Neutrals: = Quite a nice external model, but the blue seems a bit off, though there was quite wide variation in real life. = Provided rolling stock is bland, essentially default BR Mk II coaches. = Exhaust plume is light and not dynamic. = Good rail joint sounds, but no obvious bogie run sounds. Cons: - Horn has separate tones, but both are a bit quiet and sound synthetic. If your interested in early second generation British diesels, then I can recommend this as a straight-forward drive that feels a bit different from other stock locos.

Pretty much another own goal for DTG. How many more outdated ex IHH releases are they going to keep pushing out at full price when they are so BAD. Poor textures, wrong colours (Whats worse they were better in the original IHH versions) impossible numbers, very basic controls and the sound loop is so bad its like a record jumping. When you look at what third party publishers and out of house creators that DTG then distribute can create this is like releasing fresh air and charging full price.. I was going to add fortunately most people did get it as a free upgrade (though I use the word upgrade in in the most loose sense).. If you did not avoid until its at a real price (ie its a TSclassic at 4.99 and then wait for the half price sale)
