Love This Very Well Done. The Only Proplam Is On The Way Back To London Victoria As Your Entering Clapam Junction The Speed Limit Drops To 20mph With Out Warning When Its Not Meant To Drop To 20mph Till Then End Of The Station. Please Can You Fix This. Thank You.

Brilliant Train! And the best of all is the newly recorded sounds. Scenarios are nice altough the last one seems to have a Bug at the end. Still i would recomend this train!

An excellent locomotive for the BML. Put this alongside the Slamdoors and newley introduced 377's (at the time of their operations), and it looks perfect. I've seen a few issues with it, the major one being a AWS bug, where if you pass the ramp in the exterior view, and then swap into the cab, the AWS will go off. Then we have two minor issues, such as the complete wrong coach numberings on the Class 488's and the lack of nameplates on the 73's. Overall, this one gets a 12/17

The Class 73 returns once again this time as the Gatwick Express in a push/pull formation with a Class 489 at the other end as a drivable coach. Only one livery is included which is the intercity scheme which looks very nice with the details on the loco, coaches are nicely done. Just 3 scenarios for this add-on with two using the Class 73 and the last using the Class 489. For those that are interested in the Class 73 but might find the controls are bit too much there are two alternatives if you don't want to spend too much right off the bat. The first and cheapest option is the BR Blue Diesel-Electric pack that includes the Class 73 and other loco's while the second is the Class 460 pack that includes the Class 73 in a Southern and Gatwick liveries. Despite the nice detail I'd still wait for a sale before buying but it is a nice addition.

Amazing set. Very well made, good model, good textures, interesting driving. Lots of content for little money if you get it on sale because it's always on huge discount. My only gripe with it is that the power handle slips to Weak Field position way too easily when I'm trying to set it to Series, which makes the loco extremely hard to control at middle speed, because if there's too much resistance, WF will make it brake forcibly. Probably not a problem for people who control the handle with mouse or some kind of controller, but on keyboard it's really very annoying.

This is a very nice add-on. If you like some more challenging driving this one is perfect. You will need some practice to not blow the fuses too much but the effort of learning is really rewarding, as the train just drives beatifuly. There is also a steering cab on the other side, which is nice but not so challenging. Highly recommended for London - Brighton route and any other British third rail. There is also a diesel engine available but I honestly couldn't find any route where it could be used along with the third rail and the engine is very weak and not suitable for normal driving.

well i always test new trains out on the portsmouth direct route mainly between guildford and woking because you can get trains upto full speed and obviously has the third rail anyway got to say this is a nice addon wasn't expecting the guv class 489 nice supprise that, got the loco and 489unit up to 85mph the track sounds over the points are impressive but needs a louder wine from traction motors for the 73 and like none at all from the driving trailer this could do with a mk1,2 sounds update from AP for the 489 driving unit but could no doubt add it yourself if your a wizzard. pity cab windows do not open with the noise increasing from the outside.

I think this trainset will be worth your $20 USD (sorry if I'm American) due to the sounds and physics. It will take alot of practice and the throttle is different from the others due to you do have dual modes on one. Just to be aware to look in the manual since it tells you how it is powered before you drive it. I was able to bring the trainset to 90 MPH in both diesel and thrid rail modes. PROS: -Amazing clean recorded sounds -Very well modeled physics -Very nice sceanrios 10/10 - I would buy again!
