Good DMU. Would be great if the brakes were as good as the Class 101 because with the Class 121 it takes a longer distance to come to a stop.

This addon is okay but tips more towards the bad side when it comes to DLC. The sounds are recycled from the original 101 pack from 2010 and you only get one peice of rolling stock (itself). Would have been nice to have had Silverlink Chiltern BR Blue BR Blue/Grey or even a Regional Railways 122 as a bonus. Overall - 3/10

I had a lot of fun with this DLC. A lot of fun. I don't care much about whether or not all the lights work or if you have 12 sun visors and there should only be 7. The windows do not need to open. What needs to happen, is you need to quick drive this bubble car on the Canadian Mountain Passes Route and start at Lake Louise or Eldon. Set the end to Revelstoke. I got to 105 before I derailed going into a tunnel. It was majestic. Could you imagine doing 105 bloody miles per hour in that tin can? Good god!

No issues really, recycled sounds, no driver at one end of unit when heading in reverse. However, it's a nice little unit and good for a trundle.

This First gen DMU Pack is like the rest of them terrible The sounds are terrible and you can hear outside engine sounds on the inside which is not right the power and gearbox handle sound horrible also the real life versions dont have the gear box handle move straight up to gear 1 it goes from 4 to 1 if you watch drivers drive them on hertiage lines also spiltting all the first gen DMUs into different packs is dam right disgusting in reality I would just put them all into one pack a part from a couple as most have the same body shell or they are sold as the same DMU but with different liveries like the 101 AP did have a sound pack on there website which vastly improved it unfortunately thats been taken down now which is a shame as the engine sounds, physics and driving the DMU was improved to make it more enjoyable Do not get this pack it is not worth your time or money UNLESS you have never heard a Class 121 BEFORE or are BRAND NEW to TS

I bought this cute little DMU on the 2023 Spring sale and didn't regret it. Yes, the sounds are awful (but you can replace them with the much better sounds of the Class 117 from the North Somerset route) and the NSE livery is kinda dull (however, online you'll find a nice BR Blue livery and an absolutely fabulous BR Green livery for free). But besides that, it's an ideal train for short heritage branch lines with even shorter platforms. Combined with family member Class 117 (again the one from the North Somerset route), you'll have a mature consist for your heritage routes, or just for routes you want to enjoy a great cabview (big window-alert!). The manual gearbox is a fun feature and kinda works like a cruise control.

I quite like this little railcar, the detail is average, and it's quite fun to drive Pros: 3 included scenarios which aren't the best, but whatever The model is quite nice If you can get this on sale, it's a good train for your collection Cons: For what you get, I feel it's a tad too expensive (however I did get this on sale) Not everyone is interested in old railcars like this, so I dont think everyone would like this Overall: The Class 121 is a nice cute little train, which is quite nice to drive. The price (£11.99) is quite expensive however on sale it's not a bad deal. 7.5/10

There is a great level of detail with this DMU and highly appriciate the cabin view. Tho I suggest turning this into an Advanced model, I would love to operate all leavers and knobs, open a window and a doors, something for Railworks to consider. I recomend for sound enhancement, Armstrong powerhouse Pro Sound pack for this engine,

A fun DMU to travel around in but if you are used to driving Class 101, 105 and other similar railcar's then there's not really not much new info to provide other than that it's a different class and a NSE scheme. You get some scenario's such as two tutorials and another two for the Great Western Main Line. The add-on has been out since 2014 so a price drop is expected in future but as always a sale is the prime time to get it. Only dissapointment is on DTG's part in leaving the player with a incomplete manual but that's expected from time to time. The obvious but missing part is the destination board. You can change it in the scenario editor by double cliicking on the unit and swapping the letter so it's not constantly on Paddington. After browsing the keyboard this is what I found and it dosen't seem to be caps sensitive. a- Paddington b- Slough c- Reading d- Oxford e- Didcot f- Greenford g- Windsor h- Maidenhead i- Twyford j- Henley-on-Thames k- Marlow l- Newbury m- Bedwyn n- Swindow o- Glouchester Hopefully this little list will be useful to any scenario builders that may have accidently overlooked this.
