A fun top-down shooter with a variety of upgradeable weapons, and enough enemy types to keep it interesting. The game is a little janky, and it isn't long, but it's a fun romp through classic early 2000s sci-fi horror tropes. Almost every trope is referenced here, and its done with complete seriousness, adding to the humor.
The only cons are 1. no save system and 2. a few gamebreaking bugs. The game saves once you reach the beginning of each level, but my character got soft locked near the end of one level, and I had to restart from the beginning of the level. Extremely frustrating bug, but it only happened once.
If 1 is abysmal and 10 is the best gaming experience I've ever had, I'd rate this a 6.5/10. It amused me and kept me engaged for the 4 hours it took to beat it. I wouldn't revisit it probably, but it was fun.
