I enjoyed the game a lot from what I played of it. My partner was watching and having a good time too until the gummy they took kicked in extra hard and it spooked them quite a bit. Not sure I'll be able to finish the game at this point without freaking them out, even after sobering up, lol. Careful how you take your extra fun pills kiddos, and always have a sober and/or experienced buddy with you when you do.

I love the art, music, writing and general talent behind this game. There's an incredible documentary about it's development and kickstarter backing that I really recommend. Most of your enjoyment of Broken Age will probably come out of the first few hours during Act 1, where the puzzles are mostly light and the story feels really intriguing. But this game man, ooooh man this game. Act 2 is a very different story. These puzzles. They are really bad. Reallyyy bad.
There are many "Monkey Wrench" puzzles littered throughout this game, and if you know the significance of that phrase then that might tell you all you need to know. I might recommend this game if you're playing with a guide to just experience the art and story and atmosphere, but please, don't play this for the puzzles. Act 2 of this game has really soiled my thoughts on the ordeal. I was really hoping this would be my jam.

(My steamdeckhours do not show?)
A tribute to oldschool adventures.
I felt really at home with the non linear progress and inventory (and not only dull puzzlegame after puzzlegame like in some modern "adventures"). *I miss the days when you could make a mistake and be blasted by a Sarien ;D*
The Story was very good in totally misleading me into believing something that isn't there and then slowly piecing the pieces together just when/or close before they were revealed by the game.
I also liked a lot how the Stories where interlinked and showed different perspectives/consequences.
So the game left me with a good feeling of balance between being predictable (a.k.a. making me feel smart ;D) and surprising.
The Dialogues where fun, varied and thought through and they left a good impression.
Also Voiceactors felt suiting and did a good job (english).
The Graphics were also enjoyable (even if this comicstyle is a kind of artstyle i normally don't like)
It all fits together very well.
Only the ending left me wanting to continue, because it felt like it suddenly skipped to endscene/credits.
I have to admit after watching the credits with some endscenepictures it felt kind of complete.
But still.
So, even if there could be more in there, i can reccomend this largely well rounded package.
