Laggy and whenever i go to things like skill tab and go back to the game i get a flickering blackscreen and the game drops to 10 fps. Dont waste ur money

What an awesome game. Finished the other game two weeks ago and already liked it pretty much. But holy. This game takes it to the next level. Deepens the story from God of War and even got me a tear in the eye at some point. Time to 100% it.

Strengths: + Exciting story with emotional depth + Stunning graphics and visual effects + Improved combat system + Variety of locations and enemies + Great music + Developed characters and their relationships Weaknesses: - Some linearity of the narrative - Sometimes predictable plot twists - May seem too similar to the previous part - Not all side quests are equally interesting Almost perfect sequel, which improves all aspects of the previous part. The game offers an exciting story, great graphics and an improved combat system. It is a true masterpiece that demonstrates how deep and emotional video games can be.

God of War: Ragnarök произвела на меня невероятное впечатление. Это не просто продолжение знаменитой серии, а глубокая, эмоциональная история о взрослении, принятии и силе любви. Особенно сильно меня тронуло то, как раскрыт образ Кратоса — сурового, внешне холодного воина, в сердце которого скрывается глубокая любовь к сыну и верность друзьям. Взаимоотношения Кратоса и Атрея — центральная нить повествования. Их путь, полный испытаний, недопониманий и взаимного роста, показан с потрясающей искренностью и человечностью. Эта история отца и сына берёт за душу, и, как по мне, именно в этой части она достигает своей эмоциональной вершины. Сюжет захватывает с первых минут и не отпускает до самого финала. Великолепная постановка сцен, музыка, атмосфера скандинавской мифологии и проработка персонажей создают ощущение настоящего эпоса. Ragnarök — это не только о битвах и богах. Это игра о выборе, о внутренней борьбе, о возможности изменить свою судьбу. И в этом её настоящая сила. Безусловно, одна из лучших игр последних лет.

if you're on steam deck, DON'T BUY IT. there is a consistent audio stutter that makes the game insufferable and unplayable. please for the sake of 65 bucks. DO. NOT. BUY IT.

One of the best games out there, highly recommend playing it together with God of War (2018). Its quite a masterpiece of a game.

amazing game (excluding that part with atreus fucking about with the giant girl, because that went on way too long) but 2 major issues, psn requirement and 175 gigglebytes for somereason

I'll keep this simple. This is not my GoW. I prefer GoW 1-3 released on PS. This is: 50% walking or climbing 30% puzzles, which get tedious after a while and just slow down progression 20% combat And the combat... I'm not really looking fwd to it. So far only interesting fight was in the beggening, so I find myself just waiting to get to the final show down, becasue after 11h there was nothing else epic. If you love interactive movies - this is a game for you. A lot of dialogue and character development. Perhaps too much for my taste. Again, GoW 1-3 balanced those aspects way better IMO. UPDATE after additional 11h --- MINOR SPOILERS --- - Stop with the white screen when starting a game. I'm sure I'm not the only gamer who has time to play at night in THE DARK - I bought a game titled GOD OF WAR. I played other 4 games as Kratos. I do not want to play as a confused kid. - What's with this family drama. Just talking and talking, and some more talking. Please go get therapy off screen and let's have some action.

A stellar continuation of everything I loved about the first game. Took me some time to get around it to but happy I finally found time for it. Excited to see the story through and complete "Give me God of War" difficulty.

Easily slots into the top three story games of all time, in my opinion. It's stacked with amazing moments that leave you awestruck and speechless throughout. It's also incredibly profound, with many quotes and events that prompt moments of self-reflection. I can't recommend this game highly enough to anyone looking for a story-rich journey that'll stick in your memory long after.
