The worst train I've driven. Not only is the sound ripped straight from a Class 455, but also terrible physics, texture, sound and please don't press the "number 5" key you'll be terribly cursed with that passenger view.
Get the AP Class 321 pack instead, what a joy to drive instead.

Certainly not the best DLC that I've purchased. Outside appearence is ok and the one livery is a pity but the sounds are just outright horrible and pretty much a cut and paste from the 455. The worst of the racket is too loud and heavily focused around the power car. I originally bought it for Ai but even that seems unlikely.
Take my advice and that from others and just give this one a miss as no full price or even in a marked down in a sale makes this worthwhile.

DO NOT GET THIS!: it has 455 sounds
Would not recommend
Dovetail is lazy
if you have enough money, get the 320/321/322 EP from AP as it has more to offer

Well, I didn't expect this. The cabin is loud. Everything is rattling and clunking. The air brake compressor sounds like it is about to fall out. Such a charm. For the first half a minute.
There is a bug (I think) in the train reducing the sound insulation to zero so it's not as civilized as it's Glasgow sistership, someone may like this piece of junk feel. I don't.
Verdict: a piece of junk.
P.S. It wouldn't be a DTG creation without something really stupid being implemented, in this particular case it's terribly annoying squeak of the wiper. They don't play their own game.

I'm sorry to say, but this addon is totally appaling. Not a patch on the Armstrong Powerhouse version at £14.99, which I think is good value.
I purchased this mainly because some workshop and scenarios I have require this dlc. I paid £4.79 in the steam sale at 60% off, and I still think its a ripoff at that price. I would have needed counselling if I paid full price at £11.99.
A very poor effort I have to say and one off the worst dlc's for Train Simulator ever.

for accuracy to real life, consult other reviews, I do not have experience with these MUs so I cannot speak
it runs and drives
sounds are there, not exactly bad in quality terms, but apparently wrong
the model looks good to me
it runs and drives fine and the scenarios seem possible (have yet to complete them, this is simply first impressions)
I can recommend it if you just want something new to drive, but if you want realism, consult other reviews

This is an amazing DLC, which I am referring to Armstrong Powerhouse.
I would say that this is in my top 3 worst DLCs. The sounds are normally bad, but this DLC they are awful. I never knew the 321 had the sounds of a class 483, I'm still sure they don't. When moving, the only sound that actually comes from the train is from the MSO; which has the sounds of the class 455. I wonder what London Midland and Greater Anglia think, it appears FCC have took their units, or maybe it's Dovetail...

DO NOT WASTE ANY MONEY ON THIS PIECE OF DLC AT ALL.
There are many flaws with this train.
The sounds are appalling. Clearly they have been rushed and fail to sound like any train in real life let alone the class 321. This is the only add-on where I have had to buy the Armstrong Powerhouse Sound Pack because the DTG version sounds attrocious.
The outside appearance is OK. I find the proportions are wrong, the sides are slanted when they should not be and the level of detail is just not worthy of a £12 add on.
Interior: Utter rubbish. Either nobody went inside the real train and so it is imaginary or the camera used to take the photographs of the interior to then put into the game was damaged in a way that changed the look of the pictures on it. Don't press 5 or your will utter many curses. The description reads "features passenger view" but what they forget to add is that it fails to represent anything meaningful.
So to sum up: The sound, interior and exterior fail to reach any standards of authenticity, userbility or value for money. The price of £12 (minus 1p) is a joke and under no circumstances should you buy this product at full price (or in the sale for all the reasons outlined above) unless you have money to waste and if you do have money to waste, don't buy this as it shows Dovetail Games that the product is good when it is far from it. I spent about £4 on it during a sale and even then it does not repesrent value for money. Really and truly do not buy this DLC. It is an utter joke on every level and at best could be described as a poor effort and at worst a complete rip off and money grabbing move by the makers. If you really want a realisitc class 321, go to Armstrong Powerhouse. It is well worth the £15 (minus 1p) and is a real pleasure to drive. I hope that this discourages you from buying this DLC as it is a waste of money and time. Also, if you get it for free in your inventory, it is as welcome as the U2 album being automatically downloaded onto your iDevice.
Don't buy this product.
Felix
Because of the reasons outlined above, I will not be including it in any more scenarios (unless requested to do so).

Five words:
GET THE ARMSTRONG POWERHOUSE VERSION.
I will be replacing it with class 319's for scenarios with the workshop. Sounds are ripped right from the Class 455 DLC and the train does not have any feel of realism. No wonder these fucking peices of shit devs made it. TO ROB US OF OUR FUCKING MONEY
I give it a -935/17

This addon is just appalling. *London Midland numbers, 1938 LU door sounds, horrid interior, and many more atrocious flaws. For £11.99 it is an utter joke of a pricetag.
For just £14.99, you'd be far better off with the Class 321 pack from Armstrong Powerhouse, which is universally better in every conceivable way.
*1 This is just an addon so bad that I will personally REFUSE to use this in any future workshop scenario under any circumstance, or even AT ALL for that matter.
easily the worst TS addon I have ever used.
