The mountainous Stevens Pass through the Cascade Mountains features the longest railroad tunnel in the United States, and is now recreated in a spectacular new route for Train Simulator.Opened in 1893 by the Great Northern Railway, the pass is named after John Frank Stevens, the first non-indigenous person to discover it.

Nice route with lots of yards and mountains. A few tunnels, and a loooong one also. I like the way the train has to climb the mountain pass and feel sort of remotely with its mostly single track and a calm trip.

Absolutely best route. The scenery is stunning and the buildings are really realistic. Although there is no extra dlc, that really sucks, and this should've come with a updated gp38 or es44ac. Near applewood yard, there is no scenery, but other than that, it is a really good route.

A great route, with good scenarios included!
Sounds on the default engines are pretty ok too.
Only bad things are:
absolutely 0 DLC for this route
kills my computers frame rate!

started playing it with the scenario pack included, but ran into a glitch in the " Winter hill climb east " scenario. namely what the duck is another train doing in the cascade tunnel ? waited 20 minutes it to clear but nothing. After that you late and get -500 points for wrong consist .. ( I pushed it out )

The game is okay, this DLC on the other hand... For 40 bucks (plus another 10 for a scenario pack) I expected DLC that would work. That's not what I got. It won't load, missing some rolling stock files or something. Tried to refund it and steam counts my entire play time with the game as how much use I got from this BS DLC. I got 0 hours (that's zero, as in none, nada, zip, zilch, bupkiss.)

Good route and highly accurate. I live near Cashmere and take pictures all over this sub especially on the East side and I can say that this is an awesome route and I'm glad they designed it.

This is a good route with lots of detail it comes with amazing locomotive such as the BNSF ES44DC. The only bad thing about this route is when you put it on cloudy the clouds are just ugly looking. It looks like they are painted on. Over all this is a stunning route

Wow I am stunned, the Stevens Pass is still very relevant to the year 2022 in quality and scenery, I love the Cascade tunnel opening and closing doors, I have the Cascadian route from Gtrax and thought I made a mistake buying the original Stevens Pass but no, not at all, completely different in many many ways, I can only recommend this route, this is a very very good route indeed. The scenery is top class. 10/10

In my opinion, this is THE BEST ROUTE IN TRAIN SIMULATOR!
Pros: -Great cars, very realistic doublestack cars
-Comes with a great BNSF GP38-2
-The rout is spectacularly scenic on almost every mile of it
- Surprisingly fast for a mountain pass
Its in Washington State, so you can use practically any engine you want and it would still be considered "normal"
-Lots of towns
Cons: -Random bridge bugs
- The ES44DC has no change in sound or horn. They should of AT LEAST changed the horn.
-Terrible rolling stock sounds*
-Its hard to change the time setting from BNSF to Great Northern. Also Northern Pacific's way
over the Cascades is way faster and harder, and NP trains just... look better.
Not a bad thing, but also not good: they should have made the Sounder or the Talgo Train. This would go from Everett to Seattle King Street Station.
Over all, I would definitely recommend this rout to anyone.
*All TS rolling stock sounds suck...
