Absolutely best route. The scenery is stunning and the buildings are really realistic. Although there is no extra dlc, that really sucks, and this should've come with a updated gp38 or es44ac. Near applewood yard, there is no scenery, but other than that, it is a really good route.

A great route, with good scenarios included! Sounds on the default engines are pretty ok too. Only bad things are: absolutely 0 DLC for this route kills my computers frame rate!

started playing it with the scenario pack included, but ran into a glitch in the " Winter hill climb east " scenario. namely what the duck is another train doing in the cascade tunnel ? waited 20 minutes it to clear but nothing. After that you late and get -500 points for wrong consist .. ( I pushed it out )

The game is okay, this DLC on the other hand... For 40 bucks (plus another 10 for a scenario pack) I expected DLC that would work. That's not what I got. It won't load, missing some rolling stock files or something. Tried to refund it and steam counts my entire play time with the game as how much use I got from this BS DLC. I got 0 hours (that's zero, as in none, nada, zip, zilch, bupkiss.)

Good route and highly accurate. I live near Cashmere and take pictures all over this sub especially on the East side and I can say that this is an awesome route and I'm glad they designed it.

This is a good route with lots of detail it comes with amazing locomotive such as the BNSF ES44DC. The only bad thing about this route is when you put it on cloudy the clouds are just ugly looking. It looks like they are painted on. Over all this is a stunning route

Wow I am stunned, the Stevens Pass is still very relevant to the year 2022 in quality and scenery, I love the Cascade tunnel opening and closing doors, I have the Cascadian route from Gtrax and thought I made a mistake buying the original Stevens Pass but no, not at all, completely different in many many ways, I can only recommend this route, this is a very very good route indeed. The scenery is top class. 10/10

Being under the BNSF block for so many years, I've only recently been able to acquire this route. However for the most part it was worth the wait. Below I will rate various aspects of this route and give my opinions on each, before drawing a final score. Scenery: 7/10 - This route shines in the quality of the assets. The tracks really look realistic with both wooden and concrete ties. The vegetation also looks very vivid and realistic. However, the eastern end of this route towards Wenatchee is fairly ugly looking by today's standards, with many, many 2D Trees and low resolution terrain textures. The rest of the route looks amazing though. There are a few bugs with the scenery like floating tracks and glitched telegraph poles which get annoying sometimes too. Trackage: 8/10 - This route is lengthy, although not the longest. It's 127 miles end to end, and features plenty of switching opportunities in the maritime town of Everett, lumber operations at Skykomish, the Amtrak Empire Builder and of course the Boeing facility at Mukilteo. Equipment: 7/10 - The rolling stock included is decent, but I wouldn't go out of my way to use them by default. The two locos included are pretty decent with a GP38-2 in two liveries (Ex-BN Whiteface and BNSF H1) and the ES44DC has the infamous "Foreman Dan Hernandez" (he does get annoying though) It's also worth pointing out that the physics on the ES44DC were reworked from previous iterations which is nice, although the glitched wiper is still present. Despite only including two locomotives, they can easily perform all operations on this route. There aren't any other DLCs with scenarios for this route, but there are a LOT of scenarios on the steam workshop (in the league of 300+!). You get quite a lot of wagons included, even including the Boeing Fuselage cars (you can literally haul a plane behind you). Pricepoint: 7/10 - This route has been priced at £24.99, however I picked it up at the reduced price of £10. As mentioned, there are a number of flaws with this route however if you are a huge fan of Burlington Northern/BNSF I would recommend this route purely because of how it looks in certain spots (especially in the forest between Leavenworth and Gold Bar). Otherwise I would definitely wait for a sale before picking this up. Overall Score: 7/10 Final Remarks If you are contemplating this DLC and prefer the GN era, there is a separate version available called "GN Cascadian" on RailWorks America. It costs money but is a faithful recreation of the route between the 20s and 50s, also featuring the original route through the old cascade tunnel, and the GN Y-1 Electric loco.

In my opinion, this is THE BEST ROUTE IN TRAIN SIMULATOR! Pros: -Great cars, very realistic doublestack cars -Comes with a great BNSF GP38-2 -The rout is spectacularly scenic on almost every mile of it - Surprisingly fast for a mountain pass Its in Washington State, so you can use practically any engine you want and it would still be considered "normal" -Lots of towns Cons: -Random bridge bugs - The ES44DC has no change in sound or horn. They should of AT LEAST changed the horn. -Terrible rolling stock sounds* -Its hard to change the time setting from BNSF to Great Northern. Also Northern Pacific's way over the Cascades is way faster and harder, and NP trains just... look better. Not a bad thing, but also not good: they should have made the Sounder or the Talgo Train. This would go from Everett to Seattle King Street Station. Over all, I would definitely recommend this rout to anyone. *All TS rolling stock sounds suck...
