This pack has plenty of freight cars and the locomotive comes in a few different paint schemes, the engines look and sound good, it's worth the money.

This is one of, if not my favorite ts dlc I own right now, I've had this for a while, but never let it shine cuz I didn't have the port road. But now I have it, it's my favorite route, and the jinty became a god, its scenarios are super fun, and there are no issues at all to me!

Brought it on sale, always had a certain love for small engines..
to me a *Real* Steam locomotive has just 6 wheels..
anything more is a chimera of strangeness, a multi-legged monster
not as advanced as some advanced engines, the firing isnt per shovel..
the cab looks like a giant coffee machine
shes an absolutely beautiful engine, a joy to drive and a pleasure to own even at full price
Displaced the Return to Maerdy J94 as my favorate flagship engine on the W&T
a unique pannier tank engine that I think everyone should own if they love steam

Love this little engine. The sounds, the lighting, the rocking of the engine and carrages makes this little beauty come to life.
If you looking for a big powerful engine to race down the tracks this is not for you. However if you want a powerful little engine to gingerly track down the tracks and do some shunting then I must say this is the one for you.
The Advanced version takes a little getting used to, but when doesn't something new until you learn how to use it properly.
I don't often say this on here. BUT this little engine is worth the money at full price never mind any sale price. Many hours to come with me and this engine.

This addon is great but there's a glitch in the system that stops the injectors from working on the ADV engines

Overall looks are great, love the different features, but for me the reverser doesn't work as when i drag it up or down or use the reverser in the cab, it keeps shifting back to 0, apart from that its a very nice model.

This is a wonderful little loco, got it on discount and have to say it's well worth it (if you play Pro range or TS is your primary game then I would say it is worth full price). I must say I was a little cautious cuz my experience with tank engines, namely the 5700 from Falmouth and Riviera in the 50s, is a bit marred and I was afraid of another slow and poor steaming loco with terrible scenarios but this little workhorse really delivered and is a very nice addition to my library.
Pros:
It has a standard mode for noobs like me
Steams pretty well and is forgiving to drive
4 Scenarios which are pretty entertaining but not so long as to be boring and repetitive (like 2MT or some of Port Road in general)
Looks good and mostly sounds good
Cons:
The rolling stock it comes with is VERY LOUD and the sound glitches out at high speeds making for not the most pleasant experience doing long distance freight
Really anything else I have for Cons is just me nitpicking and (as Jeremy Clarkson says of Alfa Romeos) if you talk about it you can't help but criticize it. This is a quality Add-On in my opinion and would recommend to anyone looking for more stuff for their collection or another Loco with scenarios for Port Road.

A fantastic loco to drive, and a must have in the library of steam enthusiasts. The attention to detail is marvellous, including tiny smoke effects on the boiler when the large ejector is open. The sound is superb, especially when the engine is working hard. Most certainly an old fashioned work horse, designed to be driven!

This is an absolute gem of a Add-on made by MeshTools with great sounds and quality of the loco itself. The sounds are great and fairly unique compared to the general or generic sounds you find on most other Steam loco's done by DTG even the wagons that come with the loco have their own sounds too and they too stand out which does encourage oneself to poke their head out just to listen to the sounds of bumps, clanks, wheel screeches and brakes as you shunt around in this engine. The pairing of the Jinty to the Wester Lines of Scotland "WLoS' is perfect with lots of chances for shunting, trip trains and branchline workings.
Now don't let the 'Pro' tag put you off, the manual is nicely detailed and there is a scenario that will go step-by-step on how to operate the Jinty in Advance mode. If you still feel uneasy then thats no problem. There is 8 scenarios and they are evenly split so there is 4 in Advance mode and 4 in Standard so you're not missing out. In total you'll get around 9 hours from all 8 scenarios and the various liveries provide more possiblites for scenario making.
As before the manual is well detailed and covers loco operation, headlamp codes 'often missed in other Add-ons', livery selection and brief history. The price is set at the usual $19.99 but will go down during sales as I got mine at $9.99 but it is one of those rare times when I would've gladly paid the normal price. So if you enjoy the WLoS and a passion for steam then this is a VERY recommended Add-on.
