Feel like a mix of portal and penumbra. Worth playing

I was conflicted on this one. The physics puzzles were interesting and there were some fun platforming segments, but this is not the reason I played the Penumbra series. The first two games created a sense of dread and suspense, you had to manage resources and problem solve under pressure, and the story kept unfolding in new and interesting ways. This time around, the story seems more of an after thought. It feels like the developers wanted to make their own version of Portal. I will give them props, I did enjoy most of the puzzles. But where Black Plague left off on a fantastic ending that raised questions, this did not feel like a satisfying conclusion to the series. If you want more story or survival gameplay, then skip this one. If you enjoyed the puzzles/physics then this would make for a fun few hours.

The story is very confusing from where it left of in the black plague. It also has to many puzzle related so I personally don't like it very much. 4/10

Don't play it for the story, play it for the atmosphere and gameplay.

Is this a satisfying conclusion to the entire journey? No. There are no monsters nor survival mechanics. There are only puzzles, some felt really unfair. In the previous games they would assist you with notes containing clues on how to solve the more complex puzzles. In this they introduce new types of puzzles and give no help. I did not understand what happened at the end at all.
