Brilliant pack, very realistic with response times from controls to brakes etc. Exhaust effects are also pretty good for its age, and whilst the sounds aren't the best, for £4.99 you can't really knock it. In short, if you have the money and want some fun, get this. If you are after a realistic simulation of a class 50, get the new Armstrong Powerhouse class 50 pack- more expensive but miles better.

Poor sounds, and the loco is temperamental - sometimes just wont move. But looks good. Sound improved by Armstrong Powerhouse mod.

NO! This locomotive is the railbound definition and manifestation of "NO!" Its face says NO! - and WHY?! It is most wise - as thats what you'll be thinking too when looking at it.. you are in agreement with this much of no as it stares blankly back.. the sounds are good, windows open and change the sound.. this is nice.. Did I mention its ugly as hell and its face says no? Well how about AGAIN! ITS NO! and further to the point of no is.. the brake gauges dont work, they say NO! as well set the brake pressure, expect gauges to move so you know whats happening NO! your not going to get that because they dont move.. NO! On the plus side, if someone were to paint it and wipe that horrible face off.. it actually looks like a capable very powerful awesome sounding locomotive.. so!.. on face value its all NO! but.. you'll probably find a good use for it. if its on special.. grab it.. or maybe grab something less ugly and lovable like its unrelated class 52 sistertrain that looks like a toad crossed with a sausage

Good engine, bought this during a sale, use it a lot to drag mk1, mk2 coaches and mixed freight on a lot routes.. Good fun on all lines.

this locos model is pretty good and has some nice features for the time but the sounds and physics are terrible once again even from an non DTG loco it sound nothing like an class 50 in game it sounds like an Valenta from an HST Dont get this Loco if you have any sense get the Armstrong Powerhouse and Bossman games Class 50 Pack from Armstrong Powerhouses Website

I like this add-on. Being a fan of the Class 50's this is actually a fun locomotive to drive in the simulator. You can open the cab window like in real life and pretend to rest your arm on the ledge whilst driving. The sounds are a bit mono though unfortunately but it does the job for the pack. Its great fun to drive nonetheless but for the price, its well worth the £4.99 asking price as you do get some Mk1 carriages. I did enjoy the scenarios that came with the pack on the Settle & Carlisle route. So if you want a fun locomotive to drive on a budget then simply get this pack. Overall Rating: 9/10.

Great locomotive! Comes with good rolling stock, works great with Weardale-teasdale, settle to carlside, ecml, gwml, riviera line, north, wcml north. Also i would strongly recommend getting the "Armstrong Powerhouse" class 50 sound pack for this as well, it makes the experience a whole lot better!

Now most people will know what a Deltic is but this is the "son of" Deltic, its drive gear completely interchangeable with Deltics, 37's and other EE derived units and it indeed inherited quite a bit from the mighty Deltic and is every bit as capable as its forebear. Sadly, the 50 didn't capture the hearts of the rail community as the Deltic, the Western or the Warship types yet in this game, the 50 is very smooth, very predictable, excellent braking and superb sounds as she "hoovers" away, 100mph plus as well and able to pull a weighty train at those speeds makes this a worthy engine to add to your collection.

I love this dirty, rusty, old iron pile. One of the must have DLC's in my opinion. Listen the unique sound of diesel engine. Old controls, late reaction times on brakes, like old engines... 10/10
