They only show the London midland in the pics but thrie is alot more to it like scot rail and southern. Plus it's a really great back in you want some DMU fun or want some UK trains too. I also failed to say thire is class 171 too. (Fell free to add me as a friend)

Do not buy this individually. It comes with Edinburgh-Glasgow. Buy that and you get this for free. You can also get the EWS & Freightliner Class 08’s via a bundle with that route, which means you get two trains, but be wary if you wait for a sale; the bundle price may not change and the individual pair of items may be a better deal, and this loco still comes with the route! It's also used a lot in the workshop - especially with Edinburgh-Glasgow scenarios - so you will get your money's worth out of this. (Just use the keyword search; the scenario search by loco selection isn't working for any trains.)

It's a decent addon for the price (currently £3 on offer) and id definatly recomend it for this price. Comes with a supprising amoutn of liverys. Only downsides are the lack of a passenger view and smoke effects.

A rather nice addon, which has large potential for a number of routes. It contains a great variety of liveries to go with and overall is nice and easy to drive. The only problem I have is the sounds, as it doesn't sound anything like a real life Turbostar. However if you can put that to one side, it's an enjoyable addon. 7/10

A rather nice add-on with a variety of scheme's to suit you're scenario building needs. Now being a "Classic" add-on the price is now $8.99 which isn't too bad and when on sale is an absolute steal. Just a friendly heads up however to those that consider buying the Class 170 add-on it is also included in the Edinburgh-Glasgow route so if you plan on buying the route first means a double win. For those serious Class 170 fans that would like to take their experience up a notch should stay tuned to Armstrong Powerhouse as they are close to releasing an Enhancement Pack covering the Class 168/170 and 171 and will include 20+ liveries.

This addon is ok for its time the model is ok but the sounds are terrible nothing like an 170 should be the physics are awful thenpower handle doesn't have an stepped braking position it's variable which is wrong the real 170s have an 4 step brake on the PBC What is nice is the fact that multiple liveries have been included allowing good scenario varation If you want the 170 pack don't buy it separately buy it with Edinburgh to Glasgow as it is included saving you some money which means in theory you are getting this for free If you something better than this to improve it please get the AP enhancement pack for it as at least that makes it drivable and actually worth using

This is looking rather dated these days, and is somewhat short on features: Pros: +It's a 170 +Lots of liveries (unbranded) +Sounds and physics seem decent to me +Used a lot for AI Cons: -Cab textures are appauling -Huge lack of features -Horn is a little odd -No passenger view All in all, this is pretty decent for AI, but is not the best to drive. Also, it is included with Edinbugh - Glasgow, so if you want this, I'd just get E-G and this is included with it (with all the liveries).
