Really like the character's diversity, the upgrades, the skill tree, but found also this game a little repetitive, and the strategy seems always the same. Its fun thought, but there are a lot of Bullet Heaven game here, and I would have love to find more diversity in the gameplay, not only in the character's choice...
I still recommend it, because they are under development, and I think this game has a lot of potential.

I like the diversity of the permanent upgrades and characters, but the gameplay loop severely lacks depth:
- All builds just eventually becomes "deal bloated big numbers while zooming around at 300% movement spd and dodge the red circles" until at some point the bosses are so tanky their health gets into the 12 digits realm it takes forever to kill, or you just get one shotted from absurd multipliers no amount of defense can save you.
- Maps are all the same, just different landscapes and music with the same 5 same Lords.
- The in-game (non-permanent) upgrades are boring, they all boils down to simple damage, range, and speed increase, or cast faster. None of the upgrades alter or transform the abilities itself for build diversity.
- This one is maybe more of a personal taste, but I don't like the general graphics style. They feel... very generic? There's just no soul in it, and feels like an average mobile game you'd see in ads.

I got this game really early after i saw a streamer play it. Loved it immediatly. Fun gameplay. Love the different skill trees for the characters. The rougelike mode is also very enjoyable. But the most important thing for me about this game is the passion and constant updates the developers provide. this truly is a work of love. amazing job devs. looking forward for the next upate and hopefully soon the full release

Nice lil bullet heaven that is being actively worked on. Plenty of characters,abilities and builds to try,solid gameplay for the type and nice and pumpy music to smash bazillions of mobs. Solid game.

Graphics are looking sharp, but don't expect to crank up the settings, there's been some optimization work but still lacking in god mode (RX 5700 XT on Linux here). Power-ups come with accompanying visual effects, which is great feedback, but they give your humble graphics card a real hard time.
The self-balancing mechanics can be frustrating at times. You build up all that power only for it to get reined in .
On the bright side, achievements are an excellent touch! I managed to snag them all once my powers got juiced up with some gemstones. It's satisfying to see your progress pay off.
Overall, it's an enjoyable game that could use some tweaks to make it even better. For now, from an A to an E, I'll give it 4/5 stars.
Let me know what you think.

Another game I avoided for awhile due to being in Early Access, but the demo sold me on it (and also saved my progress for the main game, a trait I'm fond of seeing on demos here on Steam). The main selling point: Tagged Skill Interaction, and plenty of it. I'm a sucker for status effects and elemental attacks, but so many games make those things feel weak or secondary. This game actively encourages it, and in the full game you can unlock Runes to enhance that synergy any way you want.
Plenty to do, and plenty of characters to explore it with, more so when you get deep in the weeds with the unlocked Skill tree and start getting each specific characters own unique gimmick on their PERSONAL skill tree. If you like Bullet Heaven games this is worth it; experienced no slow down and performance lags even with lots of effects flowing, though did notice the menu UI isn't PERFECT for only using a controller (mostly just for toggling certain more detailed menus like character skills/skins/etc on certain menus). But 80-90 percent easy to get around with controller alone for a relaxed time playing.

The beginning launch of this game was rough. But the devs have consistently listened to the community's feedback and implemented changes and fixes in the game that make this game in a much better spot now. If you like Survivor-likes, this is a must-play because it has a lot of dev love behind it that ranks it right up there with the likes of VS, Nordic Ashes, and Brotato!

First run was fun. Second run I got OP pretty fast. Subsequent runs the same thing. You just end up running in circles dodging smaller red circles. I usually killed myself when I got bored of running around in circles for 40 minutes. None of the abilities feel very unique or change game play much. No, thanks.

Really repetitive, every run feels the same no matter what character, build, skills and so on. Just makes it feels grindy after the first few runs

pros
* many different types of heroes/weapons
* skilltree
* being able to change the difficulty depending on your skill
* 300+ different skills to pick from
* cheap game, 100hrs in and still not 100%
* skins
cons
* only 5 maps for the hours you spend inside them, is unfortunately too little
* towards the end of the game it becomes incredibly repetitive and I wouldn't recommend going for the 100% achievements
* Too much shit going on at your screen, i understand that its a bullethell and that its meant to be pure chaos but this game is just too much. nearly every match i played i toned down my visuals too 0.1 so i can actually finish a map.
* still in EA?
