Extremely fun solo but I'd bet it's better with friends. Only issues are how annoying some "quests" for achievements can be, just make an ocean world and you'll be good. Also the fact that Macros or mods are encouraged for the 100 lvl achievements due to taking dozens of hours should be a warning.

Good Game. Nice aesthetics, lots of content for 26 CDN. Seems like it still may get more free content as well. I played this game with a friend for about 38 hours and still have 3 more bosses to do.

This game is really fun, but it'll be over before you know it. There's plenty of content to keep your hands full, but a lot of it feels kind of stunted in a way? This is a survival crafter, but it has an ending, so it makes it feel like playing past that point is just weird. I enjoyed the game, and I look forward to any extra content the developers want to add. It just feels like, having a huge base or grinding your skills to max level is kind of pointless once you beat the game.
Pick it up on sale and get a group of people together to play. A fun time, to be sure. Make sure you max level your farming and cooking skills, the food buffs in this game are no joke.

Epic game. All I do is automate things and still have a bunch of fun. Never actually beaten the game before. Great building and automation systems.

This game is a dream. Excellent design. Ton of amazing content. Challenge puzzles. The music is awesome. Great job on cooperative playing.
Before start playing this game I finished Terraria and Stardew Valley games. I mentioned this because I didn't know Core Keeper will surprise me with beautiful references of those games and this experience helped me a lot. First day of playing I created the server on Hard difficult and I'm very happy I did this because the rewards system is really good, a lot of rare and epic drops, challenge bosses, fast enemies spawning and more surprises!
The whole game experience is a dream come true.
I truly recommend this.

Core Keeper is worth every penny. Had such a great time exploring the different biomes, enemies, weapons and scenery. It's best played with friends especially if you enjoy crafting. There's a niche objective for everyone. Objectives are easily identified, graphics are great for what it is. Music is so peaceful and relaxing to play with. Also the amount of updates makes me happy knowing that the devs care about the game and listen to the community.

Very good sandbox game, similar to Terraria.
PS. Please add a button to quick-stack items to nearby chests.

This game feels like a love child between Terraria and Runescape, two of my favorite childhood games. Its pixel graphics are beautifully rendered and surprisingly well-optimized, and the many boss designs are unique and gorgeously animated. Specialized builds are encouraged in this game, and by the end of it I had one each for running, mining, fishing, and combat.
Now, onto the cons of this game:
1. Gear and level progression are very unbalanced. Core Keeper punishes players for playing certain playstyles and forces them to grind missing levels instead of naturally playing the game to not fall behind on the progression curve.
2. Heavy dependence on the wiki to theorycraft any meaningful build.
3. Effort-to-Reward ratio makes some rare/legendary items NOT worth the effort, such as the Soul Seeker. A total of 2800 ingots are required to build this thing and by that time, I had already progressed to the Stormbringer, which was extremely easy to farm for and doubled as a ranged-melee weapon.
For now, I'll tentatively recommend Core Keeper, because despite its frustrating gameplay drawbacks, it is still one beautiful gem of a game. Just...be prepared when chasing 100% achievements.
