its a good warriors game, with a different story to what we normally got, seeing Nobunaga coming up. however the roster is smaller and as the move sets are mostly tied to weapon choice, and every character can use any weapon, there is both more freedom and less choice than ever. worth getting on a sale for fans, worth borrowing to try for new players. not worth the risk of full price for those unsure.

It's a fun game, being a main SW game I expected more stories but still seeing a longer version of nobunaga's story was fun. The skill system was better in sw4-2 but overall it's pretty enjoyable.

Samurai Warrior 5 is fun. What I like the most is the graphic and the art. It is so beautiful and mesmerizing. I like the new R1 attack system and the generalization of weapons. The storytelling is also very beautiful.
That being said, there are quite a few areas that need to expand or rework.
The game focus on Nobunaga and Mitsuhide and stop there. It makes the game feel incomplete. Where is the continued unification by Hideyoshi and Ieyasu's takeover? More side stories are also preferred.
The weapon crafting system in this game also need more attention as well.
Overall, I like the game a lot. It is a step in the right direction, but it definitely needs to be expanded.
