I remember getting it on a huge discount and good I did, as $40 is way too overpriced for this game.
the content is split between the story mode and the post-story mode, the dungeon part of the post-story in understandable. But the dating part should've seen in story mode, just with part of the character to 'go out' being locked after a certain chapter.
The gameplay is small and simple but not a lot of content. You go around a dungeon to either find items, obtain items from monster, take down monster or get to a certain floor.
The map are randomized but all are clearly premade with the 'story' & 'practice' quest, and only in the post-story you get procedural generation maps.
But on the monster side of thing, some time they won't spawn unless you stand on a very specific spot of that location.
Most of the boss are pretty easy, but for the case of the Minotaur when he's ramming, you just bash both the attack and healing. It super easy to get rich quick so equipment aren't something to worry about.
Visual Novel part of it is the whole first season of the anime (notice quickly as I was having the anime play in the background), so I didn't bother with it. Only the 'go out', 'hot spring' and 'co-sleeping' are the only things that are new.
I highly highly suggest waiting for a sale for this game, as $40 is too overprice for the content you're getting.
