Awesome fighting game. Lop off arms and legs. Dance around like the black knight from Monty Python. The SONGS. I love the bard songs. Great! https://youtu.be/R7BipqmibJE

An fun indie game with a great concept and music. While not likely to be an award winner (the market is so crowded these days) it is certainly charming and I would recommend it. Not enough studies are willing to dabble in more skill based combat. There is also not a glitch in sight. It consists of an arcade mode with Medieval inspired art and song. The developer of this game I hope goes on to make games of a similar vein either more realistic or fanciful for they certainly have a vision and a know how. My only wish is that there was an online multiplayer (though remote play together works well enough) and an option to also buy the music. Buyer be warned however this game is indeed difficult to master. P.S. If anybody has questions feel free to ask by commenting. For the developer: Keep up the good work!

Its a fun concept, but the controls are some of the worst I've EVER seen in ANY game. and there is no way to rebind them as far as I can tell.

Innovative little fighting game which is simple to learn but trickier to master! It's hard to express the hilarity of seeing (what remains of) your upper-torso being launched across the arena by a kick to the face... and then going on to win the fight. Great fun! :)

Endless Knight is a unique little fighting game with a great sense of humour. If you fancy a real challenge then this game is for you. The combat is tight and focused on accurate blocking and countering. One hit can kill or leave you missing a limb - but importantly, still in the fight. Don't expect to get away with button bashing, you need to time your strikes and pick them wisely. Endless Knight is a must buy for fighting game fans that want to try something a little different.

Fun little game. Best played in first person I think. As a drinking game with buddies, it might be best played that way. I was able to beat it in about 3 hours. Insane mode is where the meat of the game is. Outside of PvP that is. Great game to pick up on a sale. Oh, and the Bard? He's my favorite.

Do you know that scene from “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” where the Black Knight has an epic sword fight against Arthur, who eventually cuts off all his limbs ... yet the Black Knight continues trying to fight as a torso? Similarly in this game, your legs can be chopped off but you can keep fighting as a torso, or your arms can be cut off and you can still kick your opponent. It's a simple concept executed very nicely in this game. At first I found this meme game decently fun and challenging, with a simple and satisfying premise: you have four directions from which you can attack, four directions from which you can defend, plus a slight difference between “quick” attacks and power attacks. Every fight is 1 versus 1 and you win by either cutting off their head, slicing them in half sideways or down the middle, or kicking them off the back of the platform. And of course there's copious blood, which can be turned off in the options. There's actually a little bit of strategy to where you swing and when, because bouncing off someone's block can send you reeling longer than if you just miss and perform a follow up, or how you can trick an opponent by attacking multiple times from one direction and then finally go for your real attack at another. Other options include a Light Sword mode so the swords look like light sabers, a speed increase setting if you need the challenge, a first person mode that I found easier than the default third person mode, and the ability to choose which side you are on when using third person mode. There's also a small selection of armor styles and paint colors, and three game modes known as Duel where apparently you can duel your friends if you have a controller, the Tournament of Doom which is the main single player story mode with a chapter select and four difficulties, plus a Final Fifty mode where you take on fifty opponents in a row. My small complaint for this game is that because my reaction speed isn't that great, I could only keep up with NPC opponents at the slowest difficulty. But I got through the rest of the game using two “cheats” to the defense-first ideal of this concept, which is when this went from fun and challenging to slightly more of a slog. First was how I started using quick and deadly combos that could often kill an opponent even when they tried to block me, such as taking a few steps forward, power attacking to get in close yet just miss, and following that with a quick neck chop while they were still recovering from blocking my big first swing. Second was how the game would inexplicably go maybe half as fast sometimes, often after a manual restart or just randomly … or maybe that speed was where the game was supposed to be and my computer was running it faster? Either way the slow down helped me survive long enough for my cheap tactics to win, which got me through the faster difficulties of the story mode (which has a decent story about becoming the King in a land where revival magic is apparently super easy, plus some bawdy humor from the bard narrator) and after about a hundred tries the Final Fifty. After that there's not much more to this game. The Final Fifty is fun to show friends, the light sabers are amusing and the concept is solid. It's unfortunate that the Normal speed difficulty is too much for me to play as intended, but for the price this game is well worth your time even if that only ends up being 10 hours or so.

A really fun game themed around the "Black Knight" scene, from Monty Pythons "The Holy Grail." If that's not enough on it's own to convince you to immediately pick this game up, I would mention that it also includes, a Split-screen vs mode, an optional first person camera view, and lightsabers. On the whole, this game totally rules and I strongly recommend it.
