This game uses AI 'artwork', however, you do have the option of disabling it once you start a game. I find it disappointing to find this in a $40 (base) product. Otherwise, this is a good game.

Really decent 4x game with early civilization Mad Max vibe all the up to pseudo-Final Fantasy diesel punk aesthetics, like a light glaze over a heavy logistics game.
The game is hard to learn, recommend watching videos of playthroughs first so you don't miss certain key features.
My favorite features are the unit design options, which are robust to say the least. I highly recommend using the blueprints feature to see about the viability of aircraft if you have that enabled.
I can't tell you how strange it was watching my mighty army grind to a halt and lose ground, because we lost a goat path dirt road over the mountains to nomadic tribals that had absolutely nothing to do with the war.

I ended up getting this game on gog and I will just say that this game can be daunting when first getting into it. You might feel like what am I supposed to do and at first be put off by the graphics. If you care to spend the time to learn the game and watch some videos and do some reading then this will become an amazing game to you. It is now my favorite game and its so very deep and complex, there is so much going on and you will still learn new things even after lots of playtime.
Highly recommend this strategy game!

it looks like a sci-fi game about war and civilization but really it's a game about making sure you got enough trucks and if you hate yourself enough trains
