It's a good game. Good graphics, good story, good content. Nothing AMAZING or mind blowing but its a good game that is worth it mostly if you get it on sale. Recommended, one of the very few good playstation games.

if i could give a "meh" rating, i would. Games mechanics are more basic and tedious than fun. Feels like a "Baby's first" rpg. They really tried to make the story interesting but i hated talking to any NPC. The stealth is pretty well done that sadly still doesnt make up for the blandness.

I just completed this game yesterday. Fun game. I wish the story was longer, but there are a lot of errands and sidequests people send you on. so a lot of stuff to keep you playing for hours on end. I'm excited to play the sequel. I 100% recommend it.

It's a great story to lose yourself in. The environment is fun and the mechanics are intuitive. I have completed a few runs and it never really loses its luster. It's crazy playing this game with all of the AI news January of 2025.

Bought this game a few years ago on sale and tried to play it back then. The way Aloy stopped and started in her movements bothered me and my old PC also didn't handle the game very well. Updated my PC and fired this back up as the first game to play on the new system. It definitely played smoother and the my "issues" from before were gone. Liked the game, great story and action. I'd definitely recommend. As far as replayability, not so much for me. I have other games to try out and not interested in delving deepr into techniques and achievements.

Absolutely phenomenal achievement. Loved every minute of playing this for over 200 hours. A real sense of achievement throughout, and very little "dead time", wandering about grinding or looking for 'quests' to do. The whole story is a bit grim, but absolutely fascinating and told with expert craftsmanship. Right the way up to the end, you're left wondering what happened in the end. I'm wracking my brain trying to find a single thing to dunk on the game and i'm coming up empty. I just can't find a thing to dislike... So, I wandered into the DLC area early. The DLC is full of "Demonic" level robots, which makes them really hard. It was a wonderful challenge, and added a real frisson of danger wandering around the forests.... By the time I'd finished the DLC, I'd already reached level 50 and the second half of the main game was just an enjoyable romp, practically in 'story mode'. I played at 'Normal Difficulty'. I'd say that most of the game is achievable by your average player at that level.. There are one or two encounters (mostly optional) that would challenge a player not used to FPS games, and one or two that were really quite challenging until you figure out the 'trick'. By the end of the game, I had done every quest, got every power-up and every weapon, so the big boss was a pushover. I look forward to HFW dropping in price a little (and me having another few hundred spare hours!), to see where the story goes next. Absolutely everything about this game is brilliant, and everyone involved should be lauded as top-tier craft-masters, aces in their field. Music, textures, skyboxes, ambient sounds, environmental FX, weather systems, pathing, modelling, VO, MoCap, weapon design, upgrades design, story, optional tasks, and absolutely standing proud at the head of them all: Level design. Sheer wonder from start to finish. Loved this game TO BITS.

I came to this game late—2025, to be exact—but it absolutely exceeded my expectations. The gameplay is smooth and satisfying, the story is engaging, and the world is a joy to explore. I usually avoid PlayStation games because of excessive platforming (looking at you, Uncharted 👀), but this one struck the perfect balance. A fantastic experience all around. 9/10!
