I wanted to like this game--because I loved Maniac Mansion--but this game just has too many issues and bugs that you encounter within the first few minutes; which doesn't make you feel motivated to continue.
Within minutes I had one character in a blood-letting chamber and one character in a spaceship Heaven party room (???), and I couldn't figure out if these were dead-ends or part of the game; it is not really made clear. I presume it is part of the game, but being trapped in empty rooms is not very entertaining for long.
