Incredibly surprising game. I think many people were worried about this game after the SE Avengers, but this is a great single player adventure. Filled with awesome action and great set pieces. Story is really touching and genuinely emotional, but also with lots of really good jokes, that all together kept me invested.

-Excellent soundtracks plus the great writing equals an awesome game! -Perfect version than any other ones! -Great plot sprinkle with good humor. Successfully made me laugh and occasionally giggle throughout the whole gameplay. -Very heavy demanding graphics. Must use the proper laptop / PC gaming to fully enjoy it. -An original take straight out of the original graphic novel. -Out of the box visual designs on everything and everyone (..or creature-ish, humanoid, etc) and top notch creativities in more good ways than just one as ordinary - - far from boring. -Excellent Soundtracks! Wait, I already mention that above. Ah, heck with it! Because the songs cannot be praise just once for each of its awesomeness! Truly glorious soundtracks that can induce sweet eargasm and I love playing it from the beginning to end! :3 Thanks a bunch, Eidos-Montreal! Me totally likey!! b(^_^)d

Very fun game. If you liked James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy, you are going to love this game. Story is very interesting and it doesn't have side quest's, which is big plus for me. Overall I would recommend this game for Marvel fans.

Started playing marvel rivals specifically as star lord, got into the guardians movies then this and holy fuck lois. This game is a banger and its a damn shame nobody talks about it. Down to the characters and the world building everything works together to animate this world in a stellar way. One day the heads at marvel should give this game a sequel, id buy that shit so fast.

I purchased because it stated it was Steam Deck Verified...I spent around 30 minutes running different settings and even messed with the BIOS settings on the deck and could not even successfully get to the in game menu screen. THIS SHOULD NOT BE VERIFIED ON STEAM DECK

Flarking awesome game, I don't remember it having much of a hype or praise, so was pleasantly surprised. Played on hard difficulty.
- How much dialog do you want? - Yes
It has one of the best dialogs between companions ever. I don't know how many pages of it was written, but it has to be a lot, you can just stand there do nothing and they will have 10 different comments on the events that are happening right now or simply banter between each other. Even Groot with his limited vocabulary doesn't get old. Quantity is good and all, but what about quality? IMO it's actually better than in the movies, it's funny, it's natural and it fits the situations.
Zap'em, blast'em, smash'em, slash'em!
At first the combat feels limited and even grindy (on hard difficulty), so you need to progress a couple of chapters to unlock some abilities and perks, but once you do it opens up, if you play your combos and use all the game has to offer it can look and feel truly spectacular.
Never gonna give you up!
Music is great, mostly 80s classics and some metal from fictional band Star-Lord. Gets you in the mood, whether you are in combat or on the spaceship.
Tell me a story!
Plot is ok, nothing super special, but it does the job and keeps you entertained and has some really great, memorable moments. Hidden companion collectables are worth finding, because they unlock dialogs and expand the lore and your understanding of teammates and their backstory.
Oooh, shiny
Game looks great, the fur on Rocket (not a raccoon) especially stands out. Colors are vibrant, enemies are easy to see.
It can't be THAT good, right?
Movement and jumping can feel a bit clunky, especially the sliding sections. Wish running was a bit faster. Default controls are not meant for keyboard and mouse, but thankfully you can customize that: vertical mouse movement is twice as slow for some reason, so put your sensitivity to double of your horizontal value; disable the double tap to dodge, I moved it to my mouse side button; activate abilities menu by pressing instead of holding. Do these changes and it's perfectly playable. Some modern times BS: a couple of annoying girl-boss NPCs, who desperately need to act tough, some belittling of men here and there, but since it's less than 1% of the dialog I let it slide, a minor annoyance. In some cases there are fps drops and some minor bugs here and there, for example during a dialog with Gamora, Drax suddenly spawned between us and just stood there menacingly.
Should I get ir or not? TL/DR
This is one of the best games based on comics that I've played. It's a solid 9/10, highly recommended.
