Hi to anyone reading this comment. First point if you want to buy Void Destroyer 1: If you enjoy srategy games like me, buy it; if you like space games like me, double buy it, it will addict you in some strange way because it's amazing!! I've came with this game like a year ago, when I had time I played it hours straight on my other account. The game at the beginning seems very hard to learn, too many controls, the step courve is a little bit big, but when you pass it, besiedes that, you'll sh*t bricks of awesomeness! The mix between being a little spacecraft, or the a awesome capital ship, or even the GUN'S (yeah, you can either control the ship, all the guns, or just one gun) is almost a unique experience, i've seen it in the same way VD 1 in a very old game called 'Machines', most of you will probably never heard about it, but was an RTS too where you could play as the units. The fact you can choose between 3rd person shooter, or RTS is awesome, build space bases is awesome too! If you like strategy game, this is a must buy, and for the price, is almost bananas (i'm brazilian, believe what i'm saying, hahaha) 11/10 recommend 11/10 would buy again

Oh my god, the controls ... the controls ... what were they thinking ??? If you cant design a good control interface, just copy from the big titles, it is better than design a horrible one. THe interface ... oh my ... story ... oh my ... imersion oh my F GOD ! What were they thinking ? IT breaks my heart to not recomend this game. This game is basically a Homeworld + X3 + bad controls + complicated interface + no imersion = it is not gonna work. If a modder can do a good work like complex mod for homeworld, how in the name of earth a dev can fail so miserable ? 5/10 game. Dont get me wrong it has potential, but there are tittles much better to spend your time with. It seems that the devs didnt understand that they need to start a game with a simple design, repeat the comands time after time, with a good story, music etc, so the player can get the expected imersion and learn the basics, then the game should move adding more and more complex tasks and controls over time. Instead the game just trown you in middle of a clunky control and bad interface, in the hope that the player will learn in 5 min what the dev took months to learn. It would work 15 years ago, but not today, with so many options outhere. This game simple doesnt worth your time, play homeworld, or x series, or another RTS, you will get more for your patience. I hope many problems will be adressed in the sequel, but for now go play homeworld deserts of Kharak, X Rebirth, chess etc. You have been warned.
