Void Destroyer Reviews
Combining the best of space combat and real time strategy. Victory can be tactical, a dogfight or capital ship slugging match - depending on how you decide to achieve it. Space combat on a RTS scale with space sim savagery.

This is actually a "maybe".
The game itself has a lot of great stuff going for it: nice graphics, cool sounds and awesome music.
It also has a wonderful space-sim flight physics and you can play with any ship of an size you want! A cheap drone, a fast fighter and on to cap ships. And of course your trusty command ship, which has abilities.
And at times it's real fun to play.
BUT, and this is a big one: like a lot of (singular) indie devs, the difficulty isn't balanced AT ALL, and more often then not, it's more frustrating then fun to play.
On a lot of missions you'll need to "get it just right", save-scumming and loading like crazy, to finally find a loophole to actually finish a mission.

Pretty lackluster overall from to the controls to the HUD, sound design to weird technical glitches like the game stretching and distorting every image in the game if the screen ratio isn't 16:9 (HUD elements, com images, loading screens).
It feels like the developers ambition widely outreached their grasp.
