I like it. It's not perfect, there's a lot of text, some good some not so good text and it's not your family-friendly mash one button strategy game. It's a real strategy. I mean by that it requires some IQ. I've spent a few hrs in this game, I got how to play and it's not too hard, but it punishes you for mistakes. A few bad decision in a row and you lose 2 hours of progress. The audio is OK, nothing exciting, the art very minimalistic. What's awesome about this game is its unique mechanic. However, you will need to invest at least a few hours to learn it. There are some hidden data behind the screen and you need to estimate the difficulty level of an expedition. And that difficulty doesn't behave linearly. For instant, if an expedition's reward is x and another expedition's reward is 2x then the difficulty of the second one can be triple of the difficulty of the first one. What's even more interesting, if your crew lack skill then there's a random chance of success, but if you lack too much then you have a 0% chance of success. Bad estimation and you are screwed. I guess it's not for everybody but if you like to think, analyze and don't bother losing a few rounds then try it. I'm going to play more (I want to try it on hot seat mode) and I liked the simple story in the career mode. And a little warning about the story, it starts with 3 minutes monologue. Yes, 3 minutes. Overall it's a unique game, 8/10, maybe solid 7/10. Also, devs are still active with minor tweaks which is nice and there are voice actors in the tutorial and careers which means you don't need to read all of the text. I would love some Sunless See writing in this game but that's ok, it is still fun. Price to content ratio seems to be good and I can recommend it.

Bardzo przyjemna gra. Oryginalna grafika, która wpada w oko :) Od początku wzbudza pozytywne emocje. Ogólnie lekka, prosta i przyjemna. W sam raz na spokojne wieczory :D

Gra jest dość wciągająca, pierwsze 2 godziny zleciały mi niczym 20 minut. Na pierwszy rzut oka wydaje się być trudna, ale jak się ogarnie, to jakoś to leci. Muzyczka fajnie dopełnia się z grafiką, co nadaje grze uspakajający klimat. Nie każdemu przypadnie do gustu, ale polecam spróbować, bo mało jest takich gier.

Gra jest pozornie prosta, ale po pierwszej porażce okazuje się bardzo ... wciągająca. Połączenie eksploracji i zarządzania powoduje konieczność bardzo roztropnego dokonywania wyborów. Warto czytać opisy wydarzeń i nie przeklikiwać ich, są ciekawe i mają realny wpływ na przebieg rozgrywki. Gra jest wymagająca, ale daje sporo satysfakcji, gdy uda nam się przetrwać dłużej niż poprzednio, a może i uda się w końcu zbudować swoje muzeum ;)

Good game! There is very nice interface and clear (humorous) descriptions. Game is not so easy like it seams. Gamer has to have sens of strategy to succed.

Such a great game! I did play now like a bit more than hour and this game is so addictive. What`s great is that u have tutorial and every part of the game is deeply explained. I`m highly recommending! :D Update: Still playing this!

It is really great game. Calming music with cartoon graphics gives you relaxing sensation to play. Rules are mostly simple, but can be challenging when you have to keep balance with stats and money to keep exploring harder expeditions. I really recommend it for people who are tired of doing everything as fast as possible to win game. In Archeo you can just chill and play in your own pace.
