Don't buy. This game is NOT fun. It had great potential, but it's not fun, and you should NOT buy this. You better wait for a second chapter or a remake, or try something else. I want to make it clear: I really hope to see this product in a really polished version. Many reviews talks about poor commands. I don't agree, it's just a platform without the "coyote effect", so sometimes you got the feeling to have made a jump when you really didn't. The problem is that this is a 100 tentatives game, and you die too much for three stupid reasons: 1) the developers chose to make every single interaction letal, thing like mines and bullets, but also spiky enemies, electrostatic enemies, everything. I think this is a problem because this should be a stealth game, so you should have multiple levels of failure. Once the alarm set off, you can't shut it off and police is coming, and you need to get your ass out, So why do scouting drones hit you with no bullet, but with an unevoidable hitscan? Why the confusing poison, that makes hacking impossible and escaping very difficult, must also kill me? In all my games I took all the money or I died on the spot, never once I had a chance to run away at the last moment, 'cause there are more killing than scouting things. This brings us to problem number two. 2) there is no fucking tutorial of the enemies. I really hate this one, 'cause I'm old enough to recognise many stable platform enemies, but even if the first are pretty intuitive and you get what they do, then they start to be more complicated. This one is bulky and I need to beat him 3 times, ok, np. Then, you reach enemies that get covered at random intervals in electricity, and you may die because you are hitting them and the electricity pops up without anticipation. There are so many examples, but this is not a trial and error game, I don't want to die because I need to do it to get what an enemy is able to do. Also, many enemies are not consistent. Mines are able to explode before you are in hacking range sometimes, others have sudden changes in their speed. Your own jump is not clear, sometimes you fall like twice your own height and its no problem, sometimes two more pixels and you die on the spot. I really wanted to see some kind of crippled state, a chance to hardly reach the end of the level, the character retires but you take the cash home. 3) Bugs. Not many, but.. sometimes i got teleported around, getting blocked in a wall, in a room I can't get out 'cause I have no more bombs, on a mine. This is a game with 100 tentatives, and the deadline is tight. I'm really happy to pay or be weakened by MY mistakes, but I can't fix the development ones. If you like this tipe of stealth platform go try Mark of the ninja, but I don't think this one is really a finished game.
