This game brings some amzing assets to the table. The technical foundation is great, the graphics look stunning and it has alot of mechanics, that work well, So why negative: The core mechanic of the game are short, intense cycles. And this is my main problem with the game. The idea of short cycles is, that they are meant to stress the **** out of the player. If this was an optional hardcore mode, it would be great. But it is the only mode. I despite all the great things it offers, i cannot enjoy it. I personally cannot understand, why the devs, that are already operating in a niche market, are not aiming at a wider audience. So Maru VR Productions, if you read this: Please consider to make Bootstrap Island more accessible by implementing a less stressing, more casual survival mode. I.e. by allowing the players to customize the length of the day/night cycles.
