Der Autor hat die Entwickler über den Entwicklungszeitraum hinweg immer wieder besucht und geht unter anderem darauf ein, welche Ideen es nicht ins finale Spiel geschafft haben oder erzählt über einzelne Entwickler, wie sie ihren Weg ins Team gefunden haben und was ihre Motivation war.
Da dabei auch viel auf spätere Kapitel des Spiels und deren Handlung eingegangen wird, enthält The Final Hours of Half-Life: Alyx [b] mehrere Spoiler zu Half-Life: Alyx! [/b]

Essentially a long article with occasional 3D assets to look at. Runs EXTREMELY poorly on my Macbook Pro, but reading on my gaming PC (connected to the TV) is equally not ideal.
The added eye candy doesn't justify the atrocious performance. It even runs at half resolution, which makes the text very pixely. After reading for a while, images stopped loading. Videos run at barely 1fps.
Price is a bit high for what is essentially a Polygon feature. (Then again, maybe those are worth more than free! Check them out, especially the one about Panzer Dragoon Saga!)
I also noticed some typos, and factual errors (E1M1 is explained as "Episode 1, Mission 1 - but I am pretty sure it stands for Episode 1, Map 1? Modders are said to have built "WASD" maps, named after the keyboard keys!? - I am pretty sure what the article meant are "WADs" - a bit strange for Geoff Keighley to get these oldschool facts wrong)
All the technical problems make this a hard sell, but in the end, it's an inside look into Valve and what they did since HL2:E2, so TAKE MY MONEY REGARDLESS.
... I would still prefer a website link to read on my tablet.
