If you've ever slightly thought about simulating any form of rail operation from a more management-line perspective- then buy this. Being able lay down expansive rail networks everywhere in the world is something no other game allows you to do so easily except Nimby rails. The game gets updated quite often, there are monthly (and detailled) devblogs and (which some might see as a negative- i do not) old features are kept up to date and/or fully revamped if needed. Make no mistake- nimby rails can become very complex if you have more realistic timetables in mind, and recreating real railways takes a lot of time. Still not convinced? This game has fantastic mod support, ranging from cosmetic buildings to map overlays and, most importantly, endless amounts of custom rolling stock. It may not be that pleasing to the eye, but sink a few hours into the game and you'll be (disclaimer: probably not) well suited for work at your local transportation department. So, get to work and you'll soon proudly look down on your infrastructure-disobeying constructions. 9.5/10 because arcs in nimby rails have made me lose hope in society
