A very nice Visual Novel. Even if I am not precisely a "lesbian woman" I can feel a lot of parallelisms in my own life with both of Sam and Michelle. Congrats to all the team for make this memorable story. Music was very good too, lot of memories about the late 80's and early 90's from my memories. Although Sam and Michelle are both fictitious characters, my best wishes for both of them and everyone playing the VN. Hope the creators would make more Yuri stories like this, short but deep :-)

At the recommendation of a friend, I gave this visual novel a chance, although I had only read a few stories of this kind so far. "A Summer's End" tells the story of Michelle, a young woman who, as the title suggests, lives in the Hong Kong of the mid-1980s. As luck would have it, something as trivial as a suddenly broken shoe leads her into another part of town, where she meets a person,who suddenly changes her life. Whereas Michelle is more of the traditionally raised, shy, young woman, who does her job and leads a quiet life, Sam represents almost the complete opposite of her. Despite Michelle's initial reluctance, the two women explore the city and its surroundings, which are accentuated by the game’s beautifully hand-drawn images, as well as the charm of the 80s. Fittingly, an atmospheric, unobtrusive soundtrack runs in the background, as you click from dialogue to dialogue. If there was anything to criticize here, it would be, that I might have wished for a few more pieces of music, because otherwise the songs could repeat themselves in the samescene. However, this doesn’t take anything away from the atmosphere. From time to time, you have the possibility to choose between different answer options in the dialogues. Whether or to what extent those have an effect has on the story, I unfortunately can’tsay with certainty, because so far I have only played this game once. As mentioned at the beginning, I don’t watch or read that many love stories. However, I really liked this one very much. I enjoyed being able to witness the slow blossoming of the relationship between these two women. The love scenes are portrayed quite romantically, without drifting too much into a certain direction. In the end, what remains for me, is a nice, little love story, which conjured up a smile on my lips and which I will certainly read (or play) again.

9 von 10 Punkten - Eine schöne romantische Lovestory zweier junger Frauen mit einigen emotionalen Wendungen, sehr gut und glaubhaft erzählt, optisch einfach, aber gut umgesetzt. Hat mir sehr gut gefallen und kann ich nur empfehlen! (Aber definitiv nichts für Lesben-Porno-Voyeure.)

Wow! What an experience. It's wonderfully written and at times I couldn't stop reading until way past midnight... Michelle's struggle with herself and Sam just being Sam was a very interesting story to read. I failed to use the Passion patch at first and skipped through the story to see the additional scenes and... damn! How their passion for each other is described made me feel all warm and fuzzy and I felt really happy for them, almost like they were real. This has to be the best VN I've read so far. Please make more!

Hi. A realy wunderful, emotional Novelgame. It like an cloudless night, where you can see the stars of milkyway clearly shine. Thanks for this romantic game. I´m still have tears in my eyes. In German: Ein wirklich wunderbares und romantisches Spiel. Die Charaktere fühlen sich lebendig und echt an, man lacht, freut und weint mit Ihnen. Ein Spiel was sich in der Nähe von "live is strange" ansiedelt, aber ohne den übersinnlichen Charakter. Wie geschrieben: Wie eine wolkenlose Nacht wo die Sterne der Milchstraße ganz besonders hell leuchten!
