in game the weapon is always the canon and default hammer and they have no damage , no matter how i changed outside ,once i get into the map its turn to be useless

At first I thought it would just be a basic trap and slash setup but once I got into the crafting system and started messing with different builds it opened up a whole other layer. I crafted this weapon that boosted damage when enemies were marked and used it with a trap setup that kept everything stuck in place. It felt super satisfying. The skill tree is also way better now and you can actually feel the impact of your choices. One run I focused on AOE traps and in the next I was just sprinting around with a shotgun and punching bosses. There is a lot of room to mess around and find what feels good. Also credit to whoever balanced endless mode because it gets intense fast but never feels unfair.
