Terminator: Resistance Reviews

A little rough around the edges in some bits, I won't lie, but nothing makes the game less fun. Its really great. Takes tons of inspiration from the first films. Enivroments great, especially at night. Give it a shot. It might seem odd at first but I assure you it will grow on you.

Picked up on sale and had low expectations but was pleasantly surprised. Very fun and enjoyable game. Ties nicely into the first two terminator movies which are the only ones worth watching anyway. 7.5/10.

The good: The game has some good and bad but I would recommend it. It really captures the look, feel, and sound of the Terminator world. The feeling of being outgunned and having to creep around and use stealth portrays that well. The sub plots and stories are good and the voice acting for the characters are fitting. The annihilation line concept is great as well. The mixed: The paths feel fairly linear but there are some spots where it opens up nicely. The bad: The AI is bad and it's fairly easy to cheese it though in some spots they corner you well. Your characters voice acting falls flat fairly often. Lastly the photograph system is a little wonky. I crept up undetected behind one of the bigger terminator units and got a couple of very close photos and it said bad quality, Only a sellfy with the Terminator would have been closer...lol. Lastly every time a soldier says "Over and out" somewhere a baby drill sergeant falls from the heavens. Any soldier who graduated basic training could have acted as a military accuracy consultant and told you these are two contradicting commands. Over means you are waiting for a response, Out means the conversation is over. All in all I feel like it is a worthy adaptation of the films and would give it an 8 out of 10.

The metacritic score for this game is nonsense. It is actually a solid game.

Too basic, bland and simple.

i feel terrible for getting this game on discount super solid 9/10 for me. it does pretty much everything right. the music is great, a lot of fan service, the gameplay loop of dealing with the different enemy types is addicting and well thought out, everything from the hacking minigames to the inventory management to the shooting to the hiding is satisfying, that first time you encounter the T800's is nerve wrecking horror as it should be.. i love this so much. the characters are all well done and i genuinely care about them even if the dialogue is a lil weird at times we need more games like these and we DESPERATELY need more developers like Teyon which have a palpable passion for the games they make and respect for its fans.

Terminator: Resistance is a good shooting game with a solid story. It also gives you choices that impact the storyline. The gunplay is satisfying, the graphics are impressive, and the soundtrack is perfect. Its connection to the Terminator movies makes it even more awesome. 8/10.

not only is this the best game the Terminator franchise ever had it's also a fantastic survival horror shooter. very few games manage to blend stealth, crafting, exploration and shooting so seemlessly without many parts feeling reduntant. but this game succeeded almost perfectly: you must use stealth and carefully pick your battles because Terminators are powerful and fighting mutiple at a time is very dangerous while sneaking, you must explore to find ammo weapons and craft matirials you must craft explosives to set traps and stun terminators, and you must craft medicine to heal and boost your stats to survive fights with terminators and while there isn't a big enemy or weapon variety, each of them are done very well and present unique challanges based off the area layout, numbers and avialable tools and all of that without even mentioning the amazing attention to detail to look like you're living exactly inside the the Terminator movies anyone who likes immersive sims will love this, anyone who is a fan of Terminator MUST have this

No crashes, no bugs, no game breaker errors, no lame multiplayer modes, no paywall, no shop, no microtransactions, no day one patch, no "improvements" or nerfing patches, just a good game with very fun gunplaym perfect atmosphere like the first two Terminator movies, and linear - mid open levels, just in the good old days. Please, make more games like this.
