This game sucked. Battlerite had amazing characters tuned for an arena setting, and jamming them in a rushed together Battle Royale didn't work. Surprise. Both games are dead, but OG Battlerite was so good it still has legendary status and is influencing similar games.
Like Supervive, which feels like this game done correctly. Turns out that developing your characters and movement to work on a large map makes everything feel better. I still have the delusional belief Battlerite could be saved. But until then, Supervive is the spiritual successor you may be looking for.
