I already own this on Switch but got it here because the overall experience more stable, and this was the first time I realized that Digital Eclipse was a force to be reckoned with in the compilation arena. While others churn out basic (if competently emulated) games for the Western market, Digital Eclipse made this experience into not only a who's who of pre-Neo Geo SNK games, but also included a nice history of the company, along with information on games released during this period. It's a great reminder for those that either forgot or don't remember that SNK had a life before Neo Geo cabinets. Features typically include both Arcade and Console games (where applicable) as well as a handy "watch" mode (which also allows one to take over at any time) and some DIP switch options and Region switching. I had to return this game a couple years ago with my old computer since it ran horribly. Now that I have a new computer I went ahead and tried this collection again and the games work flawlessly. I'm very familiar and grew up with Neo Geo but seeing the SNK games before the famous arcade machine was created is very fascinating.

on a sale this is a gem! Crystalis I feel never has any appreciation for what it was and when it was released near the end of the NES life span. Action RPG with a bit of story. Upgrades to your various weapons. Simple yet back in 1991 this was amazing! This game actually got me into the whole action RPG and in so into RPGs and MMORPGs in general. Awesome little game! Get it when its under five bucks and you can't regret getting this gem along with arcade hits of the 80s!
