if you can look past the shortness of part two and just apreciate the game for what it is then i would definitely recomend it its one of the best choice of games i have played and by now i have played alot on steam. and i am pretty ecited for part 3

Part 2 plays a little different than the first part because you have to worry about a larger group. Depending on which people survived or you rescued or you killed, you have completely different events. Those who write that Part 2 is too short didn't understand that there can be many different subplots depending on who survives and who doesn't. Not surprisingly, there is only one main plot strand. Different main plot strands can only appear in the last part at the earliest, otherwise the story would be too branched. I would buy this game also for 15 Euro, since it offers much more freedom of action and depth than for example "The walking Dead". Maybe it's also due to my perfectionism, but to play through part 1 and 2 once(!) (with several attempts) I needed 50 hours and I enjoyed each of them. I am curious about part 3.

I really enjoyed this game and i can only imagine the hard work behind this game, but come on.... Another year for a part 3 is completely bullshit,

I imported my save from part 1, but since my guy starts up in a completely new place, and I had to create him anyway, I am not sure what good it did. It took me about 3 hours to complete this, and while part 1 was significantly larger, this is still a good piece of DLC. It will probably feel like a worthy successor to part one after part 3 comes out and continues the story. Considering the replay value (I rarely replay games, but this is good enough to warrant it), I'd say it's definitely worth the money.

Loved part one but part two was just bad. Short and disappointing with linear choices. Everything just felt lackluster in it. Although I did hear there will be a update with more content for it. If so, I'll play again and re-evaluate. EDIT* So there was an update that added more content. So I changed to recommend this game. Still not as engaging as part 1 or 3, but the extra content adds what this lacked the most.

This part was significantly shorter than the first part and, although I enjoyed it as much as the first, I can't recommend it based on the fact I was sold on the promise that I would be able to begin building my safe haven and building relationships with my fellow survivors. Because of this I can't recommend this DLC in its current state. Though an update is incoming to extend the length of part 2 and add more missions which is direly needed. In conclusion, if you enjoyed the first part then you'll love this part also and if you're if you don't mind the length and want to continue this story (and support upcoming parts and updates) then feel free to buy this. I know I enjoyed both of my runs with it (good and evil) and am looking forward to additional content to extend this series. Edit: After Replaying this a few more times I've come to respect the amount of work that has gone into this. I have probably around atleast 5 characters that I play through as and all of them are very different but something I noticed was that atleast some part of my characters unique background, skills or traits were atleast partly addressed and involved in the story. Based on this I have changed my original decision and am recommending this based on the knowledge that most people who bought this dlc enjoyed the first part and I recommend you replay with a new character atleast once to have a whole new experience with this game. Many people may not agree and feel they should be able to enjoy a game on their first play through as much as subsequent ones but with a game like this tha stresses customization and characterisation so much it would be unfair on yourself and this game to only playthrough once.

WASTE OF MONEY!!! They story is good, but way to short!!! You also pay way too much for what is an unfinished story!! THe story is still unfinished and we are being forced to wait ages until the next part is released. For which we will have to pay allot for what will most likley be another barely finished part!!

Too short, this is more of a part 1.5 than part 2 Melee weapons are useless against survivors it seems, despite having 6 in melee weapons i wasnt able to kill any of the attackers at the end Everyone in camp seems to hate my character for some reason even tho ive tried to help everyone and gather supplies they are all hating me and i dont have clue what im doing wrong for them all to hate me Overall its very disappointing compared to first part

Part 2 is good. It's just short. Like REALLY short. I mean I've waited like a year and a half for the expansion to come out and the content that comes out is roughly half the size of part 1. I didn't exactly develop any relations with any characters. I didn't get to scavenge or interact with the world like I did in part 1. Despire all this, the challenges the reader faces still make the chapter enjoyable. I just wish I had a little more to do if the author plans on selling chapters individually. TLDR : ITS GOOD, BUT SHORT. IF YOU HAD HIGH EXPECTATIONS YOU MIGHT BE DISSAPOINTED.

I really enjoy the concept, and all the characters, but this was too short. I was really unsatisfied when it ended. Don't get me wrong, it was a great "cliffhanger" moment, I guess, but I just didn't feel there was enough to feel like I really did anything. All in all, still recommending, because I do like the kinds of decisions that get made and the characters around you are well-enough written, but this was not a satisfying chapter.
