The Stillness of the Wind Reviews
A quiet game of life and loss. One by one, everyone left the village for the city. Everyone, except Talma. Approaching her final years, she maintains a simple way of life tending to her homestead, surviving, subsisting, whilst increasingly disturbing letters arrive from her family in the city.

I really do not understand why this game has such a high rating.
It looks like a game made by bad writers who absolutely do not know how to make games.
For example, an important part of the game is letters. Letters are supposed to be read, which takes
time. But there's always not enough time. So, I just stopped reading letters, as it doesn't affect
gameplay in any way.
You have to do pixel hunting very often. The game has a lot of bugs, like disappearing items.
However, some bugs, apparently, the developers called "the story".
The story itself is told terribly. What happens happens for absolutely no reason or explanation, it
feels like a set of bugs rather than a story. The ending, which was implied to be sad, brings more
of a happiness that it's all over.
This game is really a sad story. The story about how bad work can be sold as a ‘philosophical masterpiece’.

This game is ADORABLE albeit slow. The passage of time is languid and the homestead setting is lovely. The UI is simple and user friendly. At about the 2 hour mark (the game itself takes about 3.5 hours to beat [says Reddit]) you'll get a cut-scene dream that absolutely reminds me of the Caldecott Award winning book, The Little House. While this game isn't for everyone, due to its pacing, it's a gorgeous game with a gentle soundtrack and simple game-play (exploration and daily tasks).

I have been really enjoying this game. It's a far cry from what I usually play. But I find myself getting more and more attached to the character and the animals each time I play.

It's a good game, lessons about balance and time management as well as loss. When it snows, just go back into the house.

The Stillness of the Wind is a quiet, contemplative experience that focuses on solitude and routine.
an elderly woman who lives alone on a farm, tending to her animals and dealing with the passage of time.
The game has a unique atmosphere, with its minimalistic art style and slow paced gameplay. While it doesn't have traditional action or conflict, it beautifully captures themes of loss, memory, and change. The simple yet poignant mechanics allow players to reflect on the quiet moments of life. It’s a meditative game, though its slow nature may not appeal to everyone.

Didn't really like it. Everything is really slow and there's not that much to do, it's more about the story.
