Pretty fun game, reminds me of the C&C days. Only complaint would be the very slow resource gathering (there really needs to be another level for the oil pump and iron mine) and very slow mech movement.

It's basically Company of Heroes in a Dieselpunk Alternative World War 1 type setting. It does everything Company of Heroes does a little worse but I still recommend it it's a very decent game.

Decent story but atrocious gameplay.
AI does not have resource limitations and just constantly spams units.
Enemy heavy units are grossly overpowered as far as DPM and HP comparing to your units and that is supposed to be main challenge of the game.
It is just lazy or incompetent programming.
Zero tactics as you either overwhelm AI units locally (early game) or use main character auto heal to slowly kill them one by one (takes forever to do). This artificially inflates time of each mission and it is vomit inducing boring.
This trash is not worth even on heavy discount. Beware!

Network and its reconnectivity issue makes leveling up near pointless.

great visual, interesting designs and time frame; but there is not enough unit variety, there's not enough factions and one of the factions, rusviets, have an absolutely broken mech can that decimate all the other factions. the game is really interesting but i would just recommend getting men of war assault squads 2

IRON HARVEST
A classic real-time strategy game with base building.
Great campaign build your army and take over the map
or sneak with very few soldiers in a squad and make the best of what you got.
I had ton of fun building big mech robots and just destroying everything having said that the game is not easy.
Most of the time if there is weakness in your defence then the enemy will try to break thru there.
The game has a few problems like path finding for your mech robots,
they sometimes get stuck on things on the ground or they take a walking path that makes 0 sense
so you must babysit alot.
Also at times if enemies attack
then it can happen that your robot or soldiers dont even shoot back they just stand there looking while they are slowly getting destroyed again babysitting your squad is unfortunatly a must at times.
Its nice if a game has a story even an RTS, but this here game has way to many cutscenes for my taste.
Having said that i had ton of fun playing this game!
If you like old school RTS like CoH og C&C then you might like this too :)

reminds me of halo wars and its got loads of mechs so its peak
a gripe i have with the game is that theres no inbetween setting for easy and medium ai.
the easy bots dont so a whole lot while the medium ai rushes me in the beginning and i cant do anything about it. skill issue i know but it just sucks that the difference is so drastic between difficulties

Game mechanics are the worst ive ever seen in a RTS. the only good part of this game is the story. i really tried to give it a chance and wanted to like this game but i truly regret this purchase.

As a Company of Heroes 2 player with over 1000 hours, I would recommend this game on sale. I really enjoyed the single player campaign.
Pros:
- Beautiful graphics, design, dieselpunk. Original and imaginative. The design styles are consistent and polished.
- Well-directed cutscenes - which are many!
- Interesting plot & characters. Deep, very insightful, captures the essence and brutality of war. Inspired by WW2.
- Eastern European voice actors, which are a refreshing change compared to always hearing American. They are not perfect, but very passionate. There was an attempt to put on an American accent, which was hilariously bad.
- Well-written and thought out dialogue.
Cons:
- EVERY VEHICLE MOVES AS FAST AS AN ELEFANT TANK DESTROYER, WITH ENGINE DAMAGE. No wheeled tanks. Forget about Blitzkrieg because the war will be over by then.
- Terrible UI. For example to cancel the production of a unit, you have to click the --> arrow to scroll to the unit and cancel it in the unit groups tab. The unit groups tab only displays about 8 units at a time.
- Infantry variation is quite bland between the factions. Every faction has the same: flame, MG, anti-tank, etc.
- the air artillery unit is OP. You can just build it and win the game with the only 1 type of unit. Every faction has the same unit.
- dead player count and multiplayer, sadly.
- connecting to their servers is problematic at times
That being said I'll still say that I really enjoyed the campaign. The World Missions is fun, but gets stale after a while because of the air artillery spamming and repetition. Definitely worth it on sale. No regrets buying.
