Words cannot describe the disappointment I have in this. The game play is fucking terrible, glitch, crashes, no sound effects half of the time, and worse of all the weapons don't fucking work since the guy screams "NOT RIGHT NOW" or "I HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO" WHEN THERE ARE ZOMBIES RUSHING ME. The hype was so fucking good, the graphics are great, The environmental physics are outstanding, but dear god it sucks in practice. This has not been updated in over a year and I doubt they will again. Skip this $30 beta...

The game is overall fun, BUT there are a lot of small things that break the fun, like: - the physics are a bit janky like in the catacombs where you need to place barrels on pressure plates. you can't grab them from far as the player doesn't grab onto them just levitates them a bit then drops them so you need to be close but when you are close the player rather grabs ANYTHING than the barrel... it should be a priority target when you try to lift it. - or sometimes your weapon just disappears... I'm guessing it is thanks to the physics too as it usually happens after defending but it flies with such force that you will never find it again... and even if you would take the time to search for it don't bother as weapons and such despawns so quickly a lot of times I go to grab something like a key or a barrel, use it where it is needed then go back for my stuff and bam it's gone after seconds :/ - some of the weapons are downright useless... like the blunt weapons, if you don't hit the enemy with exactly the end you don't do damage. I understand that the mace does the most damage with the big iron in the end but come on if I hit someone with the handle it still hurts it should do damage. Overall good but if the devs can fix the issues with the game it will be even better.

Simple, Raw, and straigth to the carnage & fun I discovered a new genre a long time ago and loved it: VR Melee Combat !! In Undead Citadel u are going full medieval with all these weapons in your arms, also the Bow/Arrow game is so much fun here. And the physics of zombies being obliterated in combat feels great as an horror movie !! You will have S,M,L, and XL versions of a great variety of medieval weapons. The game contains a simple Single Player Campaign travelling on a infested Medieval Citadel of Zombie variants, the big ones you will hear the earth trumbling... some look very menacing but you can handle this. The weapons are being gradually found, and each new weapon discovered is added to your armory outside the game. So you also have Horde Mode (waves of enemies) on these stunning locations, but you can select only the weapons you unlocked on the Main Campaign. The weapons have certain weight and the big ones will need you to use both hands, you can slide your hands on them so you can grab them ANY way you want and it feels amazing. On top of all these... you get magical temporary boost potions that will make you massive strong + slow motion, cure yourself or use different elements on enemies, even explosive ones. PURE FUN and VISUALLY soooo goood, specially all environments and the lights in the game. The only downsides I can mention: - You need to practice the handling and grabbing because in euphoric battles you will miss or stumble with weapons falling to the floor. It is funny and dangerous in the middle of combat... but at the same time you can run and skillfully grab a weapon from the floor while running... - Certain Sounds are very weak or do not represent the impact expected. Like breaking some porcelains, or the clashing of weapons, or things that you will feel very weak noise and say "is that all?" :P 8.5/10 - Must HAVE !!! PS: If Any DEV is reading this, Great Game !!! If you are planning a DLC in the future, I can humbly propose a Battle Mage (fit perfect here) or Maybe a Magic Related character, and a Boss that is a zombie variant of any medieval monster you may think of hehehe Kudos to the Team
