THIS GAME IS SO POORLY DESIGNED IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY. The bit with the kid couldn't be more broken. Devs, I'm sad. :(

while playing this game in a short period of my time there not much instructions in this game.
It's like a cheap horror puzzle game that give up early in making the game.
The way I feel when I play this game it's like it's unfinished horror game.

The worst game of Chilla's Art so far and one of their earlier titles. But by this point of my review, Chilla's Art has made many other, much better games in the J-horror genre. If you love little indie horror games with a small budget like Grandpa, Granny and the original Slenderman, which are less about story and more about gameplay, then MAYBE get this game in that case. Anyways, I couldn't put myself to sit through this one.

Not a J-Horror game like other titles from Chilla's Art, but it is a pretty decent horror game, though maybe a little on the harder side. There is a steep learning curve with each new ghost you come across, and that learning curve is fatal until you get it. I can understand how others (and even myself, I suppose) could easily get frustrated, but it is still a pretty good game overall, just quite a bit more difficult than their other titles. I recommend it for some good gameplay, just don't expect an easy run-through the first (or second...) time you attempt it.

I like other games from Chilla, but couldn't really get into this one enough to give it a real chance. I hate jump scares so I appreciated the timer, but I was hoping for the more a different kind of horror than the game really gave. I watched through the dev playthrough and didn't see anything further on in gameplay that makes me care to see the ending. I tend to power through games I'm not having a good time with but this didn't even have an enjoyable aesthetic, nor do I want to sit here straining my eyes trying to make sense of the dark scenes with such a narrow fov. I hope someone else can appreciate what the dev has done here as to go on and try their other works which are far better.

Honestly found this game incredibly boring and frustrating. Thought i'd give it a go despite all the negative reviews. I love a good horror game but this.... this I couldn't get into at all. I tried to give it a good decent go but after running around for a good half an hour trying to find this hiding child more than three times in a row... I was over it. This game is really only for those with a lot of patience who don't need any guidance and can just 'guess' what the developers are wanting you to do. Paid less than a dollar for this so I guess I really can't complain too much.

One of Chilla's earliest games and by far their worst horror game. A frustrating mess of trial and error.

I am sad. I can't recommend this title.
This is a REALLY fun game. Is it scary? Yeah sorta. The fun mostly comes from the challenges that you must complete.
What happened? Bugs, bugs, and more bugs. I can't even get through the second stage of the game.
In the first part of the game you are being pursued by a dark haired woman in a white dress. There is a mechanic where you are supposed to stop moving to stay alive and it seldom worked properly. Even if my hands weren't on my mouse and keyboard, it would still detect movement and kill me.
Once you manage to brute force your way through that, you are met with a hide and seek challenge. This is badly broken and needs to be looked at by the Devs asap. This game has been out for almost two years. Come on.
For the hide and seek challenge, the thing that I was supposed to seek wouldn't spawn. At all. I would trigger the event and all the hiding spots were empty. Yikes.
So here I am all hot to trot for some scary challenges and the game breaks on the second challenge. Bummer. :(
I see that other people were able to get it to work for them so I'm wondering if I have to brute force the second challenge the way I did the first. Not fun.
Buy this on a 75%+ off sale, friends. I would feel bad if you pay full price and end up having the same thing happen to you.
Fingers and toes crossed for a patch!

Well the game was hard as heck but nevertheless satisfying to finish.
Heres the breakdown of the game:
BUT BE WARNED THIS IS A HUGE SPOILER TO THE GAME. The main fun of it comes from figuring it out for yourself.
Round 1:
Don't move at all when ladys singing and while shes singing find the key. It could be in a cupboard, frig, etc.
Round 2:
Play hide & seek with the boy. He could be hiding anywhere, but you'll get the hang of where he tends to hide as you play so don't worry too much about the timer you'll learn the hiding spots. You have to find him 5 times and he'll drop a key so make sure to not miss it.
Round 3:
Play hide & seek with boy and lady. again, find boy 5 times.
Round 4:
Run away from this lizard/aligator guy and turn levers on to turn on the power. He's fast but won't be able to kill you when you have the flashlight off. Turn 5 levers to complete. This round wasn't too hard imo.
Round 5 (final):
Play with all 3. This stage is extremely hard. You have to find the boy 5 times and turn 5 levers. If you turn 5 levers, the lizard guy disappears. If you find boy 5 times he'll disappear and the timer will be turned off.
STRATEGY: It's best to find the boy first but i find it easier to turn on the switches to get rid of the lizard first.
SECRET:
You have to find 10(?) monkeys before you beat the game to unlock the secret ending. The game's story actually had a little bit of depth to it lol.
Overall, I liked the game. It challenged me in a way that not a lot of games do nowadays. It actually requires strategizing to complete the game efficiently and it'll go hard on you if you just play mindlessly.

I honestly wanted the game to have a more smooth difficulty curve and had a bit more explanation on what to do in the beginning.
