Lots of fun with friends
While this is definitely not my favourite Steam game and gets boring pretty quick, this can be loads of fun with friends with it's many bugs, glitches and easter eggs. You can wear different hats such as a top hat, baseball cap and a dildo hat! The game runs a little slowly on my computer, but doesn't affect the game experience too much. If more features and gamemodes were added to this game, that would be great!

for a $2 game, i am both shocked and appalled by the quality, this game was unreasonably hard for no reward, the game looked like i drew it with my left hand in kindergarten (im right handed) and the solutions to the puzzles made absolutely no sense. this game took 0.9 hours off my life that i will never get back. i could've been out, curing diseases, but NO. i was playing the haunted house of doom, wasting my life away. my wife left me because of this. i hope you're happy.

One of Paul Bird's best games. I would recommend it to anyone who likes horror games, with so many jump scares. It's even to scary for me! Great job on this one Mr. Bird.

Fantastic narrative and puzzles. Kind of the dark souls of horror games, you will die and struggle. Great speedrun category PB is 30 seconds flat

Usually I am not a fan of the horror and point and click genre, but Paul never fails to amaze the gaming world.
The game has a charming, cute and cartoony artstyle. The soundeffects are on point and the story is just a masterpiece. In addition to the well crafted story there are many eastereggs. When i found "The Plex Solution" i couldnt stop laughing.
All in all Paul did it again - this game is an absolute must buy.

I didn't think it was possible, but Paul Bird managed to outdo himself yet again! This incredible game is a short, classic point and click adventure. It's unlike any of Paul Bird's other games, which just goes to show how talented of a developer he is. You'll have to make your way through a haunted mansion while solving puzzles. No spoilers, but the ending of the game is a life-changing experience. 100% recommended!

It is that time of the year again. Not even a full year after the last release, 'The Amazing Shrinking Giraffe', master-developer Paul Bird drops yet another AAA title to compete with the likes of 'Cyberpunk 2077' for the GOTY Awards 2020. Altough the aforementioned Shrinking Giraffe was almost guaranteed to win, with the sudden release of 'The Haunted House of Doom', finally a real contestant has arrived.
We all know the roots of Paul Bird. He started not as the hero we want but the hero we so desperately needed, releasing well thought out educational content, teaching our kids how to race safely in this scary, dangerous world. This however, advanced to very complex sport programs rapidly, ultimately reaching the point of defending ourselves againt mighty aliens and defending the multiverse against gigantic flying dragons. I think the message the prophet is sending us now seems to be clearer than ever. The action taking place in present time is a sign, this game has to be the most important social criticism i have ever stumbled upon.
I definitely dont want to spoil anything here, so i wont go into detail in this review. Just know that this "game" has not only changed the way i witness life, but made me take a glimpse beyond the borders of what is real and what is the opposite.
