Very atmospheric game. I felt like I was in Japan. Had a couple of glitches, but overall playable. Standard find the item fare. Worth the price of admission.

On Oculus Rift
I am enjoying this so far.
The locomotion is a little to be desired. You have to hold down a button to move in the direction you are looking in.
Would be better if an option for track pad movement so we could look around while we are moving. Not to mention
the lack of speed of your character which makes it feel artificial and a bit sickening in places.
Ok so with that said, why am I enjoying the game?
It is genuinely creepy. There are puzzles to solve. This is not the usual type of game I play and I was a bit hesitant
to buy it but I am glad I did. I have not played it all the way through yet and am excited to get back to it.
I will be following this game closely to see the changes they bring.
Good work devs. :)

A 'Fatal Frame' type of game, with good atmosphere, but hampered by overly outdated controls.
Pros
- The graphics set a great mood, and presents a very rich atmosphere. In some ways, it is slightly reminiscent of Resident Evil 7 with respect to a spooky house; feels menacing.
- Noticed the shadow of my character seems to be floating across the floor at times; very spooky.
- The enemies I have run into have nice detail to them, and look very menancing, although their overall movement is somewhat limited.
Cons
- Movements schemes are reflective of 1st-generation VR efforts (no movements schemes that could get the customer sick). Giving customers the option of how they want to move around appeals to the widest user base; your free locomotion implementation falls short of what I consider to be 'industry standards' (move forwards/backwards/strafe/smooth turning).
If it were not for my having the 3-sensor Rift setup to do my own 'smooth turning', I would be refunding this game.
- Being able to move by direction of my Touch controllers (and not just only my head) would ge great, as I could continue to move forward while looking around.
- While looking down and being able to see my character's breasts is always a welcome sight, I also get to see the hollowed-out version of my character's body if I look straight down.
- Your character is incapable of bowing down/bending over, so if you try to pick up something, it feels very unnatural.
- Hate every time i snap turn (I prefer smooth turning),the lantern is swinging around like I'm twirling a baton.
- This game desperately needs a 'how to use your weapons' screen while within the game. The tutorial does not do a good job in explaining how to attack with the lantern (in my opinion), and during the game I could not recall; the only way to get the training again is by starting a new game (which wipes out any previous progress).
The biggest hassle I have with this game is that it feels like I am fighting the controls as much as the enemies. In reading responses from the developer,they are going out of their way to make sure no one could possibly get sick when playing this. One could argue that current VR control 'standards' gives the player the opportunity to scale the comfort level to their liking.
As it stands now, I'm having to remind my myself more of working around the available controls, than working with the controls. This is the reason why I cannot recommend the game to others (even though I'll probably play the game to completion for what the developers tried to do with this game).

For some reason my previous (also negative) review was removed.............................
So I will keep it short this time:
The worst:
- lots of game-breaking bugs, like being glitched outside of the scenery falling forever, or events not triggering.
The bad:
- Game controls are horrible;
- lantern spins around like a paper toy ridiculously every time you snap-turn (no other option, like I said controls are horrible) and this breaks horror in a pathetic manner;
- hands get stuck in every single surface if barely grazing over them;
- walking is waaaay too slow;
- can see through own body like an empty shell.. would be better to just remove the body.
The good:
- Nice horror atmosphere and ok graphics.

crashes after a few minutes !
I really want to play this but I can't even move without it crashing, even the tutorial crashes where you just pick objects up.
Where are the developer updates / fixes ?
I've tried it on Quest 2 and Quest 3 with a good gaming PC (Raptor Lake + 4090, 64Gb RAM, Windows 10)

the style is good but the control is way too complicated. Maybe someone who likes more engaged vr game would enjoy it. I hope the developer can simplify the control in future updates. Also if you have vr motion sickness, this game does have some level of movement that may cause nausea. I feel they tried to make the movement slow so it is not as bad as some vr games.
It might be easier if there is no mechanism of turning left/right with the control pad. Limit the events/battle at specific locations, and simply let the player turn around. Separate the events from regular movement when exploring.

I got this on sale for $8.39 USD. I think this game is a good deal at that price given the quality of the content. However, this game isn't very long. Depending on how good you are at solving puzzles, this game could take anywhere from 1-2 hours.
I found the puzzles to be interesting & challenging. You have to be observant to find the solutions, but the solution are there. This game actually locks you in a room until you find the solution so you're not wandering around aimlessly and I personally liked that game design philosophy.
The atmosphere is very tense. The story has a nice pace to it. The graphics & sounds were good. There's lots of little details in each of the rooms to this house that you explore. Unfortunately, the story is to be continued so just when it starts to get very interesting, it just ends abruptly.
I do think this is one of the best VR horror experiences (there only a few good ones really), but it also has several issues that bring the game experience down currently (keep in mind it is in Early Access). The biggest issue is the slow locomotion. You move via full free locomotion or teleportation and you can snap turn, but you move just a bit too slow. There's also pathing issues, I actually got stuck near a jar and couldn't get out for several minutes. I also experienced a frame rate drop / lag spike during the spirit combat. I liked the spirit combat at first as it was intriguing and something just a bit different than the normal fare. Unfortunately, the combat stays exactly the same throughout so it loses it's luster as you progress.
Despite all the above issues, I really enjoyed this game. I love horror. I think horror and VR go together like peanut butter & jelly. Unfortunately, we don't have many good ones. This is a good one, warts and all.
Rate 7/10. It's Early Access. I hope all the above issues get fixed. It's still one of the best VR horror experiences.

This game had me sweating from head to toe! One of the most scariest VR Horrors in a long time.
The sounds are great, the tension is intense and the visuals are amazing with great use of colour.
I was terrified!

Hi, Love the style of the game, reminds me of fetal frame with a twist.
Love the atmosphere and horror in this game.
Creepy hallways and rooms, love the Asian style homes.
Great looking characters and enemies, cool effects and game play with fighting mechanic.
Inventory system with puzzle game play.

I knew this one was gonna be bad when in the menu it had the misspelled phrase "start charpter." This is just another low-budget indie Asian developed abandoned early access game with extremely limited interactivity and linear gameplay. You can only interact with very few items and only at certain times. The movement system is awful in my opinion because it involves auto-locomotion, which causes me nausea due to often being moved automatically without prompting where I want to move. You can see through your character's body, there are no options, there is no manual saving, and the frame rate drops when ghosts appear. I also experienced some major bugs such as if you place your controllers down on the floor during gameplay and then return you appear twelve feet tall and must restart the game. Also, when I died numerous times from the buggy ghost encounters, the pointers on my controllers disappeared after being thrown back into the main menu so I had to restart the game. This game has clearly been abandoned by the developer and I would not recommend it at all.
