The Steam version doesn't work. Even pirating the game and playing it on your hard drive doesn't work. Something in Windows 11 won't allow it to play. There is only one workaround I have found.
Buy on GOG. It works there for me. It even still had my save files that I could load.
And we all know Microsoft won't fix anything for just a single visual novel.
