Ok, I got Baldr Sky because I like VN. What I got is an exceptional VN PLUS an exceptional arcade game with mechas. I wont spoil anything, you must play this game and experience the story by yourself.
What I'll say is that if you are also looking for a GOOD action game Baldr Sky is what you need, with dozens of moves, unlockables, an incredibly hard survival mode and much much more.
The combat system feels incredibly clunky at first, I was on the verge of simply selecting Very Easy because I thought it sucked. Oh God, I was wrong. You'll go from "how the fuck i connect 2 or 3 hits? This game is unresponsive, its fking garbage" to "Ok, now I'm gonna juggle the enemy forever, then reset, then launch him again and finish him mid air with a gatling gun barrage+an orbital laser strike. And after that I'll make another combo because I want to use every single move in the game".
Just a warning, unless you are decent with arcades and can come up with good combos dont even try to play it on normal or above, it will just frustrate you. Maybe you'll pass the first 2 or 3 routes, but by the time Dive 2 hits the difficulty spikes through the roof.
