The bonus episode in this might be a short one but my personal favourite mainly i ship max and chloe's relationship over chloe and rachel. if you havent played the first game. i suggest to play that first and then coming back to this episode. While this episode may have pulled my heartstrings, it made me glad on the decision i made in the finale of the first game. i am not gonna go ito details but lets say Chloe's final memories wasnt of max leaving her.

This Deluxe version is awesome, not only does it come with the Bonus Farewell ep where you have one last chance to see Max you get some really sweet outfits to change into. Depending on the outfit you're wearing, characters in the game will remark about it. The outifts are really cool in general and you get to customize the mixtape, meaning you can playout any song from the game at any time. The bonus ep to me is the best thing and the main reason to get this Deluxe package. SO YOU BETTER GET IT!!! XD But don't forget you need LIS:Before the Storm to play this lol. Pros: EVERYTHING JUST EVERYTHING!! Cons: Nothing everything is just A-Okay here ^^

Note: This is a review of the DLC - Deluxe Upgrade, not the overall game. The game I can definetly reccomend, this DLC I can definetly not. Note 2: Edited the Review now that I played the Bonus Episode The Contents are: -Three Outfits -A "Mixtape Mode" -A Bonus Episode The Outfits are quite nice and a bit quirky, but nothing too great. you have: -A white Illuminati tanktop with black trousers -A white Hotdog shirt with a black hoodie and blue ripped jeans -A black shirt with a pink doe logo, blue hotpants and black boots They all look better than the normal Outfits, but i still prefer the "Original Chloe" that was available trough pre-oder. I did not excpect much from the mixtape mode, still I was kind of let down. It promises to let you listen to the song with a cinematic scene from the game. But this "cinematic scene" is only a ~45 second loop of Chloe lying on her bed and smoking, while being viewed from a different angle every ~5-10 seconds, so you become bored before the first song is even finished. I would hope that they switch it out for a better scene or at least let you choose different scenes/ create a loop out of some more, as there are already many scenes in the game that could be used. The bonus Episode is WAY shorter than any other Episode, I played all of it in ~70 Minutes and I still managed to do most of the stuff (I think). There is almost no interaction with humans (only Chloe), the story and the things you have to do are boring, the gameplay feels clunky and the facial expressions of Max are on the level of Mass Effect: Andromeda when it first released. All in all it was just plain out bad. I can't recommend the DLC at all. If you are a die-hard Life is Strange Fan, just buy the game and watch the bonus episode on Youtube or something. It's definetly not worth the 8€ as the bonus episode is just bad (it does not even feel like Life is Strange) and the other bonus content is also underwhelming.

The bonus chapter was a great little add-in to the story of Max and Chloe. I cried. There were tears. BUT I feel that the bonus chapter and content should have just been part of the core game. For my value, it was worth buying on sale, but maybe not at full price.

For the amount of content the Deluxe Edition provides, I do not think that it is worth the price. The bonus episode though is a nice extra for LiS fans, it doesn't really offer anything much that we didn't already know. The extra outfits and mix tape doesn't offer anything new gameplay-wise. If this is probably one-fourth it's asking price, then I would recommend it, but as of now do not get the deluxe upgrade, if you feel obligated to purchase it just because you are a big fan or you want to support the devs, it's up to you but I'd really advise to get it on a Steam sale at the least.

If you are thinking of buying this you are most likley already a fan of the series. Just the thought of having another moment in arcadia bay together with max is worth the price and more. Don't buy this for the mix tape or outfit unless you know that that is someting you want. Pros
*Bonus Episode
Cons
*The rest
This game just blew me away. The ending made me cry. I can't put into words how amazing this game is, and I haven't had the chance to for a long time now. Honestly, this is now on the list of my most favourite games of all time. Thank you for this opportunity. It was HELLA good. I gotta take a moment to recover after this tho. Right in the feels lol.

The DLC only includes a few things, but since I got it during a sale, I'll review it from my experience. I like the outfits, although short, Hot Dawg Man and the Illuminati shirt are nice, as for the other one, it's okay. However, I personally bought the bundle to support the devs for making a great game. NOT TO MENTION that you will also get to EDIT the music that you get from Mixtape Mode, and also the extra "Farewell" Episode where you get to play as Max one last time! Edit: As of 1/1/18, the Farewell episode isn't out yet, but everyone who has bought the Deluxe Upgrade will get it when the devs release it.
