To paraphrase a previous review of another game from the same publisher... “Let’s start with the number one issue: This game would be unplayable if you couldn’t speed up combat with the right button.”
Actually, that’s not the number one issue, but it is close. The number one issue is the rubbing mini-game, which is terrible. It’s just stupid and a distraction. Even if you are in the tiny minority who really want to rub anime girls, you have to admit the execution on PC is garbage. In fact, the entire Intimacy portion of the game is garbage. Every time you give a gift to a girl, if she likes it, then hearts appear and she says something and you can’t skip it. You can’t even give her another gift until the hearts disappear or she stops talking, WHICHEVER IS LONGER. If you are going for 100%, you will spend hours and hours of your life listening to these girls blathering on around 1,000 times.
The game is far too grindy and the combat is not nearly engaging enough. The worst part of the grind was equipment. THERE ARE NO WEAPONS IN THE GAME!!! You can wear four pieces of equipment, but they almost exclusively improve your defence. Your base attacks never seem powerful enough to you either have to burn through your SP faster than you pay for potions to replenish it, or you have to just sit there speeding through the combat on automatic. You need to get aura combos to increase your rewards for fighting; however, even if you have the right element 100% of the time, it is still faster to use the auto combat feature and speed up the combat for much of the game Doing it manually with auras will take ten times longer for maybe 50% more reward. Later in the game, the certain mobs start getting dangerous abilities and you will want to use spells to attack them first, but that’s as engaging as the average battle gets. You get almost no new equipment and when you do, it very rarely is worth equipping. There’s a crafting system, but you don’t even get the mid-tier crafting material until after you beat the normal ending. Then the crafting system just broke and I just gave up trying to get good gear.
This wouldn’t be that much of a problem if the story and characters made up for it, but hell no. How bad is the main character? There’s a button to shut him up during combat. I can’t remember what it is, because I hit it once and never looked back. I wish I could have made that damn seal shut up as well.
To sum up, according to the achievements, less than half of the people who start the game finish the first chapter and less than 10% of those who do finish the first chapter get to see the true ending. This game is a test of patience and even fans of ecchi games should look elsewhere. I bought this game as part of a bundle for essentially 50 cents, and I’m still pissed off that I wasted my money.

This game can be fun but good lord its unoptimized, I can see why a good chunk of these assets has been reused for Mary Skelter games, I have a very good PC that can handle most games but this game keeps crashing so I have to save after every major battle.
Nice tits though
