The story keeps you reeled in the whole time. It's really difficult to quit this game and I often found myself playing the majority of it at one time.

A respectable sequel to Orwell where you use it as a part of secret services (the Company... think CIA). The options are significantly expanded (as Company doesn't have the same limits and checks civilian Orwell had) - for example, you have bot farm at your disposal and can fabricate "Twitter" narratives. The data searching is also a lot more interactive with many sites having input fields you need to put specific data chunks in to get the useful output.
The game itself is shorter (3 somewhat longer acts instead of 5) but it seems much more replayable. It takes place at the same time as Orwell so you can see (and even meet some people) the original investigation playing out (you can import save from previous game to carry over the choices) from outside.
It's been a lot of fun and if you liked first game, you'll love it. If you haven't played the first game, I strongly recommend doing so (and it's worth it for sure). Such a shame there isn't another sequel.. :(

These games are important now more than ever. As someone who has only read one Orwell novel (Animal Farm, thank god), these games were right up my alley, engaging, and thought provoking. In an age where people who are minorities, disabled, or socially disadvantaged in any way are whisked away to god knows where as a result of the new EO in America, well... I feel that we are inching closer and closer to the reality of this game. Esp w/ the TT ban and youtube age verification / google AI apocalypse...

A shorter experience than the first entry, but still enjoyable game with multiple possible endings. If you can get this on sale, definitely give it a try.

honestly disappointingly shallow, the narrative follows a much more one dimensional set of tightly knit characters that all seem pretty boring and whose character swings wildly halfway through, genuinely doesn't feel as nice to play as the first game. Writing has really suffered and message is vague if not barely comprehensible.
The writing and choices are incredibly linear and weirdly tight, game is much shorter then the first one and replaying it to see other choices has no skip option so you just kinda has to slog through. Just play the first game, this one is not worth it.
