this pack is pretty useless! if i could refund the shit i would! just get the lures out of pumpkins and the rods u already have are guaranteed to be better than the ones in this pack. Getting this pack aint going to make it any easier to get halloween fish coz the rates are garbage! just more ways for them to make money! FIX YOUR GAME!

I didn't finish the Frankenfish missions this year, but made progress on them with this DLC. You will need to have credits on hand, because there are only 666 provided. I saved up and took off to Quanchkin Lake to start off. For starters, you will need moldy cheese, sour bread and dried locust baits, which you can either get by raiding pumpkins and gravestones or from the Tricky Treats DLC, sold separately. There are a lot of missions to do to get to the Frankenfish. The rods and reels provided are great - I especially liked the rear-drag spinning reel set, which allow for finer tuning of drag setting than front-drag reels do. However, be warned that it will be tough to do the missions in one year. Raid as many pumpkins and graves as you can to get rare lures like the blade spinner and roach spoon. I recommend buying a titanium leader to use when going after ghost pike. Some of the Halloween missions give pond passes as rewards, which at least in these cases will also extend your advanced licenses beyond the seven days provided (you must have an advanced license to fish at night, when most of the old Halloween fish bite).

I'm on the fence about how I want to rate this. It really depends on what level your character is and what you have available to you. If you're any higher than level 30 I would stay away from this as you won't be getting anything really worth your money and you might as well be going for another one of the event bundles you can buy all year. If you are under level 30 this gives you access to a higher level float set up that will help you quickly level up. This is particularly useful with the 7 days premium that it comes with.

Well, I love it...after day 2 :) Day one, as a new player buying this, was a NIGHTMARE . Took me forever to figure out how what works with what. SOLID rods and reels. Looking at other packs, this is an amazing pack with the rods,reels and 289lb fish stringer for all day fishing instead of leaving, coming back, rinse, repeate.
