It was a good short horror puzzle game. No major jumpscares but unsettling which made it more enjoyable. I will say it's a bit overpriced for its size, I would have rather paid $10 rather than $15 but it's an overall good experience!

I tried Nevrosa Prelude first, it seemed really cool and worked fine, this looks great but is just too buggy for me to even get to the first checkpoint. Several hours of troubleshooting isn't my idea of fun, maybe it works better on Vive or Oculus but I wouldn't waste your time on WMR Headsets.

Don't play it. I tried and the game immediately broke. I couldn't progress and nobody else had any solutions. 85% of the time I played was troubleshooting, since it didn't want to start either

The escape room aspect of the game and the puzzles were fun with some variation. That said once you get understand the quirk of each puzzle it is fairly easy to rush through. Finding the multiple endings was enjoyable and I felt great that I did so.
That said there were very frustrating moments regarding sensor movement where I wasn't moving and the game was or I couldn't let go of items. I did pull through but my largest gripe was the room size aspect. The game expects you to have a larger space for movement and it, so far as I have been able to find, is necessary to get one of the endings. I found myself unable to complete an ending because I physically could not reach the required item, it being a foot or so away. There was no way for me to get closer so I am stuck with 1 ending incomplete.

so far so good, just over an hour in and still lots to explore, i really love the use of room scale in this game.
the puzzles like the original free game r great and strike a balance of fun/frustration

What a wonderful piece of art. This is somewhat like A Chair in a Room but in victorian steam punk style.
It's not a horror shocker game but Nevrosa will play with your synapses good. Imagine your head clamped in a vice and progression in this game tightens it slowly. Feels like a weird surreal nighmare. Amazing atmosphere, good graphics, nice roomscale and a lot of love for detail. The puzzles are just right.
Really one of the better titles out there for VR. Check out the free demo Prelude, it gives you a good idea about what you are going to deal with. Highly recommend this game if you have a big tracking area.
Only downside:
There seems to be no save feature and that makes it a bit annoying. You have to go through everything over and over again. The puzzles are randomized so you have to start at 0 again.

PROS:
It's well made.
It looks good.
Puzzels are fun.
Intersting design choices as far as movement.
Intersting atmophere.
CONS:
Not as creepy as Nevrosa: Prelude
Does not run as well as Nevroa: Prelude (Although this is probably due to there is MUCH more going on visually)
Still shorter than I would have liked.
THOUGHTS:
I played through it and made a final choice (by accident - it was my fault, not the game's). So I started over to try and end it a different way. Originally I thougth that was only one of several levels, similar to I Expect you to Die, but it turned out to be the whole game which is why I thoguth it was on the shorter side.
However,I played throughthe whole thingt twice and some or the puzzel change so you cann't just plug in teh same sequence or code if you remembered it from teh previous game. I also tried the final act several times to make different choices.
Only once, did the game mess up where a piece of a puzzle piece got stuck inside another puzzle piece and I could not seperate them to complete the task. It was minor and in the very beginning.
I did not understand the mirror part ( if you play it yo'll know what I mean), but I think that it is only there in case you really screw something and toss items someplace far out of reach.
For it's current price, I'm on the fence about it, but if it goes on sale it's definately worth it, and I really hope the developers try and expand on this creepy little univser and make more games.

The best, most innovative, VR escape room/puzzle experience, hands down. No teleporting or artificial locomotion. Roomscale put to full use in the most ingenious and creative way I have ever experienced, and fits perfectly with the lore which provides full immersion.

Nevrosa: Escape was essentially my first Escape the Room Game, so I can't compare or contrast it with the siblings in its genre.
What I can say, though, is that I had a great time.
Playtime with what I *think* is each ending was a little under two hours.
Admittedly, I'm a sucker for the themes involved, and I honestly didn't find the game extremely frightening. It was "intense" without being "extreme". I usually enjoy things towards the "extreme" end and I had a good time. Unless you have a genuine case of arachnophobia, it's not an ultra intense horror experience, so I wouldn't let that dissuade you -- it's more like a strong horror theme to an escape room game.
Nevrosa: Escape is polished, smart, fun, and an experience to remember. Moar. :D

I really do like this game, but at the current state I would not be able to recommend it. Graphically, it's great. The world is interesting and creepy. The puzzles overall are good.
There are two big problems right now though - bugs and saving.
The saving system apparently saves once per chapter. After 4 hours of attempts - for various reasons I've still not passed chapter 1. This means every time I want to try again, I'm replaying everything over and over. I've played through chapter 1 at least 5 times now. This really needs a huge improvement - whether it's by implementing manual user saves, or time-interval saves, or puzzle-completion saves... something.
If there was a proper saving system, the bugs wouldn't matter. You'd just load up the last save. I get it - it's new technology and probably a technically complicated game. Bugs happen, and they don't often bother me.
But since I've had game-breaking bugs occur in chapter one 3 times now, it matters. Cause when the game breaks, you get to start all over - no matter if you're on the last encounter after a dozen puzzles were solved for the 5th time.
I had to leave once - not realizing there wasn't a saving system at all at that time. Had a hardware issue that required a restart. Then 3 game-breaking bugs. I give up.
