Puro cine, Lo jugué con el NoVRmod y no me pareció que arruinara el juego, sí es verdad que simplifica las interacciones pero se juega quizas no como un HL pero mas como un juego de terror o algo así.

Finished on PSVR2... Just go and buy a headset to play this game... no, not a game. This is an experience unlike any other in gaming.

Truly the great VR title ever made. It's an absolute masterpiece. I feel bad for anyone that hasn't experienced Alyx. The atmosphere is like no other. I played this on a Quest 2, I cannot WAIT to play it again in the Frame when it releases.

HL: Alyx is a unique virtual reality experience and one of those games that truly shows the potential of the medium. While I do feel that some sections become a bit repetitive around three quarters into the game, especially in the way certain encounters, exploration moments, and situations start to repeat, that does not take too much away from the overall experience.
The most impressive part of the game is its physics system and the way its mechanics are built into the world. Interacting with objects, reloading weapons, searching for resources, moving things around the environment, or simply exploring different areas feels natural and carefully designed. It does not feel like a traditional game adapted to VR, but rather like an experience made from the ground up to take advantage of virtual reality.
Also, for a game released in 2020, many of its mechanics still feel very advanced. The level of detail, immersion, and precision in almost everything the game does make Half-Life: Alyx stand out even when compared to more recent VR titles. It may have some repetitive moments, but overall it is an incredible, polished, and hard-to-compare experience within the VR genre.

Bought a Pimax Crystal Super OLED only for AMS 2 to be honest. Thought I'd try out Half Life Alyx, even though it's a bit old by now. Glad I didn't miss this. Absolutely amazing game. Do not hesitate with this one if you're new to VR. Nothing else I've tried up to now competes with this one. A classic.

God, I bought a VR headset to play one game, and this is that one game. I played on a meta quest 3, and my lord was it a great time. I loved every second of this game and still think it's wonderful. That being said. The better the pc you have the better your time will be. I also recommend to setup a wired setup that comes down from your celling for maximum immersion. The higher your framerate the better.

I really liked this game. I’m not even the biggest VR guy, but Half-Life: Alyx is something special.
The world feels amazing, the atmosphere is classic Half-Life, and there are so many small details that make you just mess around with stuff instead of actually moving forward. Shooting feels good, puzzles are fun, and some moments genuinely made me stop and just look around.
Honestly, if you have VR, you should play this. It’s easily one of the best VR games out there.
Great game… now where the hell is Half-Life 3?

Half-Life: Alyx is honestly one of those games that reminds you why you fell in love with gaming in the first place. From the very first minutes, you can tell this isn’t just another VR title—it’s a full, polished AAA experience built specifically for VR.
The atmosphere is insane. Exploring City 17 feels incredibly real, and the level of detail is something I haven’t seen in any other VR game. You’re not just playing—you’re there. Opening drawers, reloading weapons manually, interacting with the environment… it all feels natural and immersive.
The pacing is also perfect. It’s not just constant action—there are quiet moments, tension, exploration, and then suddenly intense combat. And yeah… those headcrabs? Still terrifying 😅
Story-wise, it absolutely delivers. Without spoiling anything, it’s a must-play if you’re into the Half-Life universe. The ending alone is worth it.
Only downside: you’ll probably wish more games were this good after finishing it.
10/10 – This is what VR was meant to be.
