90% unnecessary button smashing. 10% Story. Pros: Guts. Cons: Femto fight cuz wtf was that.. May whoever created that sleep on a bed of nails for the rest of his life. The real enemy? graphics. Am I still addicted? Yes. Stay strong, strugglers.

Played it a TON on PlayStation 4 finally got it on PC despite reading some negative reviews. I gotta say personally it only crashed once ever since it hasn't had ANY Problems. I think if your a Berserk fan it's a must have game it's personally in my top 3 Musou/Dynasty Warriors Type games with Pirate Warriors 3. I will say there is a rough spot in the Black Swordsman Arc where it feels really bland just fighting Thieves and Skeletons and Possessed Animal or Tree but after those few levels it goes right back to being really fun since the story has a little bit more going again. My Only real gripe with it is man there really should've been more characters on the roster even if they weren't in the base game and were just DLC. It's a solid selection but really does feel like it's missing A LOT of the characters and some of the ones we do have feel a little half baked like personally I feel like Serpico is the perfect example he just feels like a carbon copy if not just a more bare bones version of Griffith. Maybe when the Berserk Story itself finishes we could get a Sequel or something that fixes that by just being bigger and better but honestly I doubt it. Arguably the best adaptation of Berserk's later Arcs outside of the Manga itself. Also DON'T put it in Windows 7 mode I've never used it but from what I've read it's unplayable stick to Windows 10 and everything should work fine!

Compared to other weird Warriors spinoffs like Gundam or Hyrule Warriors, the Berserk franchise feels like a match made in heaven. The original work is LITERALLY about one dude with big sword killing hundreds, so its hard to pick a better fitting genre. It plays and looks great, with the only problem being that it becomes a bit repetitive after some time. But thats something inherent to the Musou genre as a whole, so if you know what you are getting into, you'll definitely have some fun.
I was a little skeptical at first about this game using scenes from the movies, but after a while, I started to enjoy them. Firstly, because the Berserk movies used so much 3D graphics that it kind of matches the game. And secondly, the original story is so good and captivating that its just great to relive it once more. Now, in a game form. A little sad that there are no OSTs from the anime, but I guess thats a problem with almost any anime game adaptation, and there’s nothing you can really do about it.
Considering there are only three Berserk games in total, and this is the only one available on modern platforms, its a musthave for any Berserk fan
