"Built Sanctuary from scratch, helped every settler, protected innocent lives.." Raider in Nuka-World: 'That’s cute. Now go raid them all.' " Morality.exe has stopped working. This DLC got me questioning my life choices

Best Fallout DLC across all games. Nuka Cola is the BEST drink in the Fallout World, about time they got their own DLC/Amusement Park. Good Factions and fun outcome as opposed to being stuck with the minutemen. Whimsical fun in a desolate wasteland.

so like half of it is just plain ass running arround killing shit until you find what you need, but 2 of the things are genuinely interesting, the puppet house or whatever it is called Idk I havent played it in a bit. HOWEVER, THE WORST PART ABOUT EVERYTHING, IS THE FACT THAT IT FUCKS WITH THE MAIN STORY! after beating all the places and claiming the commonwealth for the raiders, PRESTON HATES YOU! HE WILL NOT, AND BY NOT, I MEAN NOT. BE YOUR COMPANION! SO FUCK THE RAIDERS!

Like most of Bethesda's recent work, Nuka-World is a great concept that is very poorly executed. Everything Bethesda does well (such as the open world and general worldbuilding) Bethesda continues to do well here; everything Bethesda does poorly (such as writing and dialogue) Bethesda continues do to poorly here. If you're looking for an engaging open world with lots to explore, you'll probably like this DLC as I did. If you're looking for a meaningful story or engaging characters, you'd best look elsewhere.

Potentially either the Best or the Worst of all DLCs depending on whether you're willing to be a Sociopath to a bunch of binary and some audio files. I'm going to tip it to the negative personally, for a few reasons: 1) Most of the stuff you get out of the DLC requires you to side with the Raiders. You know those absolutely high-as-a-kite murderers you can't go three locations without at least seeing once? Those bastards that are a major contributor to why everyone's life in this world is so shit? Well almost everything in this DLC is tied to them. 2) Raiders cannot work with the Minutemen, meaning you can't have Raider Settlements and Artillery. Artillery is one of the primary benefits of even having Settlements outside of beds in Survival Mode. 3) Raiders will not share resources with Settlements. You'll need to maintain two different pools of resources ready for whatever your Raiders or your Serfs are going to need in the future. And no, Raiders will not farm crops so they gotta be fed by Serfs. 4) If you decide to kill off all the Raiders before even starting their colonization process, you lose access to pretty much everything they offer aside from what amounts to an AK weapon and a few vendors. If you do decide to work with them though, unlike Settlements, they will actually pay their damn rent! The best base-game non-randomized Gatling laser in the game (Aeternum) is tied to this DLC. If you want Dakka that never ends, this DLC is non-negotiable. For anyone else? Depends on how much of a Sociopath you are when you play video games.

I loved this dlc back in 2017 on ps4 and am playing it again now on pc. Yes the story is terrible, but Nuka World serves as a very good late game location with lots of cool wacky guns I just wanted to collect them all! The theme park atmosphere is solid, they nailed that, and especially the soundtrack my god do I love this dlcs soundtrack. Yes Far Harbor is a better dlc, but this one was more memorable for me.

Set in a dilapidated Nuka-Cola amusement park turned lawless city, this expansion invites players to an entirely new open-world area far west of Boston. Instead of playing a noble savior of the Commonwealth, you’re given the opportunity to become an Overboss – the leader of a coalition of raider gangs. The DLC begins with the protoganist catching a radio broadcast advertising Nuka-World and taking a monorail to the park, only to be immediately thrust into a deadly gauntlet of traps. Surviving this gauntlet and defeating the reigning Overboss lands you the title of new Overboss of Nuka-World’s raiders. From there, the main storyline involves uniting three distinct raider gangs and conquering the various themed zones of the park. Players can lead these raiders on missions to subjugate park territories and even extend raider control back into Commonwealth settlements if they wish. Alternatively, you also have the choice to betray the raider factions, effectively cleansing Nuka-World of its cutthroat element. The tone is pulpy and self-aware; it's drenched in ironic amusement park Americana. The park's zones each offer unique settings and story vignettes. As Overboss, you’ll manage relations between gangs, assigning them territories and attempting to keep them (relatively) in line. This involves a bit of strategy: you decide which gang gets control of each park area you liberate, affecting rewards and dialogue. Moreover, once the park is under raider control, you unlock missions to raid Commonwealth settlements – using force to claim outposts and enslave settlers. This raider management system is a new gameplay angle for "Fallout 4", effectively allowing the player to play the antagonist role that was absent in the base game’s Minutemen-focused settlement system. The story DLC and new mechanics are all executed at an average level. I consider that a positive trait.

The choices are either be a bad guy or commit a mass slaughter. I did the latter and it did not feel good. Not going to install this next time I play.

Nuka world DLC for Fallout 4 is the most controversial DLC for the game. I'll start by saying that the location is medium-sized and sparsely populated. In this DLC you are not given a lot of choices like in the Far Harbor DLC. All the main quests in this DLC seemed to me very monotonous. The main disadvantage of this DLC is a dull gathering in many of the main quests. From the good I would like to note a few interesting side quests. DLC for 4 out of 10.

I do not like nuka world it's so close to being good but is so vastly outclassed by far harbour, it just shows how much of a let down this DLC was very short, forced raider path with a half baked literally unfinished settler ending i could rant on about it, but no one is ever gonna read this review anyway, i just dont like nuka world
